Liked: We were so happy to be able to make a last minute booking to camp for the night (45 mins before bookings closed!).
The site is situated in beautiful surroundings and covers a huge area. The camping fields are surrounded by woodland and dotted with flowers and gorse bushes. The birdsong in the morning was incredible.
We found that there was enough space between campers and didn't feel overlooked while still being able to interact with others when necessary/desired.
The site is well equipped with a shop (selling everything from toys, to camping equipment and alcohol) that offered fire pits to rent, plus a cafe (offering GF breakfast baps), bar, and seating area. You could easily remain onsite with everything you need there on hand for a long stay.
We were happy with the price of £30 per night for an idyllic setting with modern, well maintained facilities, friendly staff, and access to mod cons. I wish we'd had the time to stay longer.
Disliked: There could be more showers onsite. I wonder if in summer there are queues.

Liked: The field is well organised. Even though it was fully booked it didn't get crowded and anyone had its own privacy. Facilities are cleaned. Shop is small but you can find anything you need. Staff are kind and friendly. All around there's a very nice wood to have a walk. It's well signed and paths are clean, so impossible to get lost.
We had a wonderful time.
Disliked: Shower rooms are really tiny. Barely any space to get changed for one person. So, showering and changing two little children has been quite a challenge.

Liked: Lovely quiet and relaxed site with open fields and lots of woodland, great facilities.
Disliked: Would have liked proper loo/shower block closer to the Open Field and also a water tap - a long walk to this

Liked: We really enjoyed our stay, the camp site was very nice and the facilities was perfect and spotless, the showers were also hot and lots of them so there was no queues. Plenty to do for children as there is a little park/play area and lots of long/short walks from the site. There is also a little camping shop witch we found very handy incase you needed something last minute. Over all we was very happy and would 100% stay again
Disliked: None at all
