Positiv The open field where there was plenty of space. The shop which was well stocked with handy opening hours. All the facilities you need. Great walks from the site.

Negativ The main camping area was a little packed for us so although that’s what we booked we were able to move to the open field which was much nicer.

Positiv Very well run site, excellent staff, toilet and showers very clean. Excellent location.

Negativ Not really a 'dislike' rather that positive criticism.
The wait for pizza at the snack shack was very long, other food wait was OK but the pizzas took an extraordinary long time.
The shower push button could last a bit longer, especially useful when washing hair.
It would be great if there could be an extra EV charge point.
Wifi coverage in near camping was spotty, maybe an extra repeater mid way, but not super important as if you stood by the showers it was fine.

Positiv Very friendly staff well looked after site. Able to visit all the local sites on bike without using the Main roads which is much safer and enjoyable....

Negativ On the 3 day stay ice was never available from the shop...early morning bfast from the cafe the table needed wiping was dirty a little of nothing but having only just opened it had not been cleaned/ Wiped we did get a cloth and wipe it......but wouldn't stop us coming again.....enjoyed the stay....Thank you...

Felt safe as it was just myself & 10yr old son camping for 4 nights

Staff very friendly & helpful

We would stay again but try to find a quieter spot

Negativ One group played loud music and were very lively until 11.30pm one evening

Another group a few days later chatted to 12.30am then spent several hours afterwards sliding and shutting campervan doors

I expected some disruption but not that late into the evening- I chose the main field hoping it would be quieter for my son especially with regards to getting off to sleep

Not the fault of the site just inconsiderate guests

Positiv Lots of space - even in school hols. Showers and toilets clean. WiFi on site was a bonus (although need to find the right spot for this)

Positiv Nice location and nice site setting.

Negativ realistically it needs upgrading, the facilities are tiny for a site this size. Each field needs its own facilities and not porta loos. It was extremely noisy and packed in like sardines in the woodland area which was not the impression given on the website. Pricey considering the lack of facilities. I don’t think I’ll be visiting again

Positiv Loved the space we had in the open field. Not crammed in and on top of each other

Negativ Not enough showers and had to queue each time I used them. Not close enough to beach to walk easily.
