What customers say
This roomy, tidy site boasts a lovely natural setting, generous pitch spacing, woodland trails, and nearby attractions. Facilities are mostly clean, with good showers/toilets. The shop and snack shack are well-loved, though some found it noisy, crowded, or had shower waits. Manager replies show concerns are being handled.

Main primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Better than liked I loved all of it, we booked last minute and we only stayed for a day but what a day. It was exactly what I wanted, park up under the trees, chilled out, napped, cooked food, walked dogs. Excellent and will be back
Disliked That I couldn’t stay longer….. pesky job

This was my second visit this year and I’ve got one more booked.
Open Field primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Great location, super friendly staff, excellent facilities. Very dog friendly. It’s central to Swanage, Studlands and Corfe so plenty of great beaches, pubs, food and shopping options are on your doorstep. It’s not a regimented site and so it feels really chilled.
Disliked Mossies but that’s the price of camping anywhere.

Open Field primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked A warm welcome with lots of guidance on how it all works. Plenty of space on site with the 6m gap between pitches a welcome rule. Portaloos dotted around everywhere so you’re unlikely to be caught short. Clean, well maintained shower facilities and waste disposal sites. A pretty, wooded site, nestled in the heart of Purbeck with great access to Swanage, Studland, Corfe and Wareham. You’ll enjoy the stay. The kids will love the forest and open spaces too. Pizza van on site, as well as a social hub etc. Highly recommended.
