Gostou Loved the space we had in the open field. Not crammed in and on top of each other

Gostou Really chilled site, we were in our campervan on the Open Field. Loads of space, quiet at night, great atmosphere. Food from the cafe was delicious and reasonably priced. Facilities were clean. Friendly staff.

Não gostou The fields only have portaloos and cold showers. The shower wasn't so bad but the toilets weren't great and rubbish built up throughout the days we were there.
The main facilities block was a bit of a walk from our tent and it is way too small for the amount of people. Every time we went for a shower there was long queues and they were pretty grubby due to the heavy use.
As beautiful as the sight is, I wouldn't visit again unless the facilities improved.

Gostou Location of the site is fantastic and really liked the fact that you could pitch where you liked and there was no limit to the size of the pitch. The portaloos were cleaned regularly. Beautiful walks and cycle paths around the site. The pizzas at the cafe were very good and nice beer sold in the pop up bar. Having wifi was a plus as there was very little signal in the whole area although sometimes the wifi was patchy.

Não gostou When we arrived on site we were told that fire pits were not allowed. We abided by the rules especially in view of the fire risk but found that many people were still having fires. There was nobody at all checking the site or enforcing this which was very poor. I advised the office the following day but even then some people were still having fires. There were no napkins at the cafe and you had to pay 50p for ketchup which is a bit steep. The wifi was hit and miss but at least you did have wifi.
