General

  • Award-winning family park close to Dawlish Warren
  • Indoor and outdoor pool, adventure playground, soft play, gym, sauna
  • Well-maintained shower and loo blocks

It’s an award winner, and it’s easy to see why – Devon’s Lady’s Mile near the Blue Flag beaches of Dawlish Warren has all that’s needed for ladies and gentlemen to pitch up. It’s had cracking reviews and full marks for location, cleanliness, facilities, customer service and more, and also has five-star scores for value for money.

And there’s more – Lady’s Mile also has an indoor and outdoor pool, an on-site restaurant, a bar, fab play areas for the kids including an adventure playground and soft play area, evening entertainment to croon along to, a takeaway and even a gym if you feel like working the calories off (or you could just decide to relax by the pool or in the sauna instead).

The showers and bath on site are fit for even the most ladylike lady, and there’s also a parent and baby washroom to keep the holiday grub off the smaller campers. Wifi access is available.

Whether you’re off site during your stay is another matter, although there are two pubs within a mile which might prove to be the motivation you need...

Really lovely park, great location, good facilities and very clean. A very enjoyable family holiday

    Disliked:

I was disappointed that the pool didn't open till 10am as we wanted to enjoy the facilities we had paid for fully and felt we were wasting time waiting for a swim. This also meant that a lot of other people were also keen to get an early swim, and subsequently people were queuing to use these facilities Which made the pool incredibly busy and could be referred to as " human soup" .

There was plenty to do on the park and you didn't have to leave the complex. They have a shop, chippy, pizza takeaway and a restaurant/bar. There was also a park which the kids loved and the beach was a 10min walk down the road. They also had security on the park which was great, as you felt secure. The toilets were always clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future.

    Disliked:

The ANPR access barrier wouldn't work for me, I had to speak to reception many times and it turned out they had me registered under the wrong month!

    Not much
1, the convince store is OK, sells everything you need but it costly, but Sainsbury's is a short drive away so probably better going there.
2, fast food outlet isn't to bad, pizza place, fish and chip and a small bakery but again if you want to pay there expensive prices then pop into Dawlish, there's one that's really cheap called Rock 'n' sole, Google it, you won't be disappointed, if you don't mind frozen pizza's then fine, not much choice though, my advice there's many in dawlish, just pop on TripAdvisor for recommendations, also Sainsbury's do them to take out hot for you, which are so much better than the one on site.
3, you must go to the Mount Pleasant Inn, quite  expensive but well worth the visit!!
4, if it rains, that is blessing as majority of the holiday goers can't get intoxicated outside there tent!!!
    5, Sauna & steam room
6, hot tub, is nice, lovely and warm, only one side only appears to be working mind you, shame about the people entering it!! Broken head rests, to set the thing working you have to do this if you know where to locate the buttons, the whole time I used this hot tub I couldn't work out how to make the jets work any better, this hot tub should of been put in the Sauna area, would of been a lot nicer, there would of been room too

Beautiful site, with so much space and electricity at every point. Great food choices from Chipper to pizza to pub grub. Great shop on site with all the essentials. Entertainment for the kids and playground. Outside pool with slide and indoor. Great place to bring the family. I will be back with the kids next year .

    Disliked:

Wifi wasn't great on "the cloud". Especially being from Ireland and on roaming charges.

They’ll also enjoy seeing the famous black swans along the Dawlish river, bumping along on the seafront railway, or just sticking close to the beach resort with its pirate-themed mini golf, go-karting, amusements and children’s rides.
