Lovely place to stay just be aware of obnoxious people
Electric grass pitch
Liked Grew up coming here. its a comfortable and friendly environment. plenty to do around the place
Disliked Alot of people up late blasting music and shouting. despite the children in surrounding tents/caravans

Very good site, friendly staff
Meadow fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (super)
Liked Friendly staff, well maintained site, facilities always clean & tidy. Food was good & didn't have to wait long - we were there during school term. The pitches were quite level & a generous size
Disliked Having to pay for wifi - especially as you had to log onto apps for some services I.e
Booking a slot to use the pool, ordering food & getting connected to your electric supply. Also the walk to the beach - it's all up hill until you reach the back gate of the site & then all down hill & on the way back up there is 300/400 metres which is fairly steep!

Decent site, could be better.
Meadow fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (super)
Liked The site is HUGE! This may be a negative for some, but we quite liked it. Lots to do, including club house, indoor and outdoor pool, arcade and park.
If you want a quiet, relaxing holiday, this probably isn’t it!
Facilities are plentiful. There’s a fenced off dog park/dog walk area and the site is only a 20 minute (ish) walk into the Warren. Loads of activities to keep little ones entertained from morning until night. Some of the staff were lovely.
Disliked It’s hilly. And when I say hilly, I mean it is HILLY! If you want to go up to the marquee at the top of the site and you’re at the bottom, you’re going to feel the burn. If you’re pushing a pushchair or elderly relative, you better be in decent shape!
Because of this, the pitches are far from flat. The grass areas were also overgrown, which was a shame, as it really put us off sitting outside. Hard standing was impossible to get pegs into.
Some of the staff seemed disinterested and facilities could do with a lick of paint. Some showers were push button, with no temperature control (which meant a VERY hot shower during a heatwave), and some have temp controls.
Despite all of this, the good probably outweighed the bad for the price (during term time). No chance I’d go during the holidays though. I imagine it’s absolute chaos. And expensive chaos!!

A great site for facilities. Being a big site it can be noisy
Electric grass pitch
Liked Facilities are good even though didn't end up using a lot of them. Food was good in restaurant
Disliked We stayed on pitches furthest from reception hoping it would be quieter. Was a bit annoyed when I couldn't get electric to work and had to walk down to sort it as they couldn't do it over the phone (it was a very hot day and it's a steep walk there and back) had noisy people on pitches near us who used cars to get to and from entertainment at night which is annoying as they had no consideration.

From the manager: Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the restaurant and found the facilities good, even if you didn’t get to use them all.
We’re sorry to hear about the inconvenience with the electric hookup process for our fair usage electric and we understand how frustrating that must have been, especially on a hot day with the steep walk.
Regarding the noise and late-night disturbances, we sincerely apologize for the impact this had on your stay. We strive to create a comfortable environment for all guests. We do have a security team onsite out of hours who can assist with any late night disturbances.
Thank you again for your honest comments.

Great site, good facilities and great location.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Great facilities, this site has everything you need. Pitches are enormous, the biggest we have seen. Shower facilities were good and cleaned regularly. The best thing about this site is location. It's just a small walk down the hill to Dawlish Warren. It's lovely and has everything you need, shops, bars, beach and funfare/ arcade. There is a bus literally just outside the back gate. A short 5 minute bus ride to Dawlish. Which is stunning. You also have Torquay etc.. close by. There is so much to do locally here it's great. We would definitely return great site.
Disliked When you intially turn up, the overflow carpark at check in can be a bit hectic. The Gents toilets were cleaned regularly, but smelled of urine. The Internet which you pay for is rubbish. The signal drops regularly and is difficult to get back. Only minor things. Great site, ideally located.

From the manager: Thank you for your fantastic and detailed review! We’re so pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay on one of our electric grass pitches and that the size and quality of the facilities met your expectations — it’s great to know the pitch space and cleanliness stood out to you.
We’re especially glad you enjoyed the convenience of our location. Dawlish Warren is a real gem, and it's lovely to hear you made the most of the nearby shops, beach, arcades, and easy transport links to Dawlish and Torquay.
Thank you also for your honest feedback about the overflow car park, gents’ toilets, and the WiFi. While we’re glad to hear these were only minor issues for you, we’ll be sure to pass your comments on to the team to help us improve these areas.
We really appreciate the recommendation and look forward to welcoming you back again soon! 🏕️🌊🚌.
