What customers say
This is a small, quiet, and well-maintained site conveniently located within walking distance of Penzance. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and secure coded gate. However, some guests mention limited facilities, particularly the single shower and toilet cubicles, and a £1 charge for showers. Occasional reports of poor Wi-Fi signal and, in some instances, smells from a septic tank are noted.

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Good location. Short walk to the local shops and bakery. Short drive to Penzance, Land's End etc. Well kept pitches, toilets and showers clean. The price of the stay was very reasonable. Kids have not stopped talking about it. WiFi included which was a bonus.

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Decent pitch size. Ok facilities including a freezer for ice packs (wish I had known about this before hand). Close to local shop and to the town of Penzance. Owners have a code for the gate and a pitch number via text. Reception was not manned, but they answered phone right away and were helpful when we needed help.
Disliked Guests repeatedly tied the (usually combination locked) gate open using a bungie cord that had been left there, which was not ideal as our pitch, where our young children were playing was by the gate. At one point a stranger wondered in and looked around. Wifi was poor, but this was not a big issue as only a short stay. Found some dog poo on our pitch.

Sadly, won't be staying here again and woukd suggest others avoid it.
Electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Very small so little noise
Disliked Pitches aren't clearly marked which led to people setting up their second tent, chairs and cooking equipment on top of our tent. It felt dangerous and more like being crammed in at a music festival. No hand soap in the toilets for the entire stay and no one on site to speak to about issues, phone wasn't responded to.

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Secured locked gate at the entrance (code operated), friendly staff on site.
Disliked Septic tank onsite very bad smells all the time, grass pitch not suitable for pegging, solid ground under 3 inches of soil. Most of my pegs bent. Very small area of camp site not much options to change pitch. Pitching area too small for a family tent. £1 charge for a shower which do not always work. My 3 bank cards didn’t work on the shower.

Great site needs more toilets.
Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Quite small park with about 20 pitches of a good size. It reasonably close to main town and small village just down the road.
Disliked There is No tv signal, and the toilets are very small, but clean.

Better for camper vans.
Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Quiet site.
Disliked Small pitches, with a caravan struggle to park the car.
Constant smell of sewerage .
Only 1 small toilet and 1 small shower and you have to pay £1 for a shower, ladies, don’t try and shave anything in the shower, you will be left high and dry, literally.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
We're sorry to hear that your stay didn't meet your expectations. The sizes of our pitches are clearly stated on all of our listings to help guests choose the most suitable pitch for their setup. If you were experiencing difficulty parking, we would have been happy to assist had we been made aware during your stay.
We're also sorry to hear about the sewerage smell you mentioned. We always aim to provide a pleasant environment for our guests, and if this had been reported to us at the time, we would have investigated and done our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Our facilities are described in our listings, including the shower charge, which helps us cover the cost of providing hot water. We appreciate that facilities may not suit everyone's preferences, and we value all constructive feedback as it helps us continue to improve.
Thank you again for your comments, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked Lovely small site, well maintained and good toilet and shower facilities. Only a short walk to local shop and pub. There is also a chip shop, which is mainly open on weekends. It's a 15 minute walk into Penzance or there is also a bus stop which is a 5 minute walk from the site. The site owner is very friendly and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable stay and will definitely return.
Disliked Nothing really.
