Constant smell of sewerage .
Only 1 small toilet and 1 small shower and you have to pay £1 for a shower, ladies, don’t try and shave anything in the shower, you will be left high and dry, literally.

We're sorry to hear that your stay didn't meet your expectations. The sizes of our pitches are clearly stated on all of our listings to help guests choose the most suitable pitch for their setup. If you were experiencing difficulty parking, we would have been happy to assist had we been made aware during your stay.

We're also sorry to hear about the sewerage smell you mentioned. We always aim to provide a pleasant environment for our guests, and if this had been reported to us at the time, we would have investigated and done our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Our facilities are described in our listings, including the shower charge, which helps us cover the cost of providing hot water. We appreciate that facilities may not suit everyone's preferences, and we value all constructive feedback as it helps us continue to improve.

A aimé Lovely small site, well maintained and good toilet and shower facilities. Only a short walk to local shop and pub. There is also a chip shop, which is mainly open on weekends. It's a 15 minute walk into Penzance or there is also a bus stop which is a 5 minute walk from the site. The site owner is very friendly and helpful. Overall a very enjoyable stay and will definitely return.

N'a pas aimé The shower and loos are really poor. There is only one shower and it is a weak domestic electric shower that is temperamental and can go hot and cold leaving about 3 seconds at a time to stand under. The shower is a trickle. The showers were not cleaned properly regularly. The shower was £1 a tile and I was expecting something decent. A proper shower is fundamental when you are showering
We were told when we arrived that they did not like cats being parked on the grass with a tent but as the website suggests you park with your tent we did, but we were told we’d be asked to move them if it rained

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the shower and toilet facilities during your stay. We were not made aware of any issues with the shower while you were on site, as we would always do our best to investigate and rectify any problems as quickly as possible. We also take cleanliness very seriously, and any concerns raised during a stay would be addressed immediately.

Regarding parking, cars are absolutely welcome to be parked alongside tents on the grass. As part of our arrival information, we simply advise guests that during periods of wet weather we may suggest moving vehicles closer to the tarmac areas. This is to help prevent vehicles from becoming stuck and to avoid damage to the grass, which can impact the experience of subsequent guests.

A aimé A lovely neat and quiet site within a very short stroll into the village where there was a convenience store, excellent fish and chip shop where food is cooked to order and a dog friendly pub.
Only 1 mile walk/ bike ride into Penzance.
We were greeted by a very pleasant gentleman who was looking after the site whilst owners were away, very few pitches occupied on arrival so we were able to choose our pitch.
All facilities were very clean and easily accessible.

Would definitely return if this way again.

N'a pas aimé Not a dislike as such but only had 1 shower which if site was busy might have a bit of a wait to use. Also as one of us has mobility and balance problems the shower cubicle was a bit small and nowhere to sit hence 9/10 scoring, fortunately we had a foldable stool which just fitted.

N'a pas aimé No one to welcome you on Site. Site warden on site an hour a day,if there at all,many days not there, never introduced himself to us when he was on site. Site gate left open all day for anybody to enter. Site warden claims to live on site but doesn’t. Poor Wi-Fi, very intermittent.

We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. As a small, family-run site, we live on-site and are visible throughout the day, as well as being available whenever guests require assistance. We make every effort to welcome guests and be approachable while also respecting the privacy that many visitors value during their stay.

Regarding the entrance gate, it is intentionally left open during check-in hours to ensure guests can enter the site safely without stopping on or obstructing the road while accessing their pitch. This is particularly important for motorhomes and touring caravans, and guest safety is always our priority.

We appreciate your comments regarding the Wi-Fi. While connectivity can occasionally be affected by factors outside our control, we continue to work to provide the best service possible for our guests.

N'a pas aimé Only one shower and toilet cubicle for men and similar for women would be an issue in peak season. Only one washing up sink too.

A aimé Small park with large hard-standing pitches. Great service and welcome by Connor and family. Just in the green belt above Penzance, so feel out in the country, plenty of bird life singing their songs. There's only one shower but the park is small enough to be able to plan, and because its £1 contactless, it lasts the whole 10 mins without having to keep pushing the button! Has Elsan, grey water, washer / drier, dishwashing sink all in clean condition.
It's really so close to Penzance, Mousehole and Marazion, and even St. Ives (catch the train in from St Erth for a great experience.
Stayed 3 nights in transit campervan, had an open barbecue, outings during the day.
Great value for money. Would go again.

A aimé Lovely little campsite, quiet in daytime surrounded by birdsong. Th manager Connor very friendly and helpful.

N'a pas aimé Sadly we were near the pump for the waste which was a bit noisy , luckily I had earplugs as I never camp without them
