- Group bookings of 3 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
- Single-sex bookings of 3 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
- Reception is unmanned after 5 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
- Lake open-water swimming is not included in the rate and is charged at £7 per person for a day ticket . Swimming is only available Wednesday to Sunday. No swimming while divers are in the lake. The lake must not be used after hours or when no staff are on site, as it's a deep diving training lake and can be dangerous. Dogs are not allowed in the lake at any time.

Liked Pitches were nicely mown, the scenery is lovely.
The swimming lake is excellent, such clean water and I loved swimming with the ducklings! It's bigger than a swimming pool so plenty of space to swim.
The showers and toilets are nice.
You can walk through the woods at the back of the pitches and if you turn right and walk 10 mins it takes you to a little onestop and a fish and chip shop. If you turn left you can walk about 20 mins to the nature reserve.

Liked Location was perfect for our needs.
Shower and toilet facilities were clean and fit for purpose.
Nice hot water and good pressure on the showers!
We met other friendly campers and our dog loved meeting other canine friends.
Would recommend and we'll certainly be using again.
Disliked No hot water option for sinks regards washing up/washing hands. Equally, we could have boiled a kettle we were just tight for time!

Liked The location overlooking the lake is fabulous and handy for the Hampshire ferries - toilets and showers all good and a fabulous cafe on site! 😁
Disliked Unless you get a pitch near the entrance it’s a bit of a walk to the WC/ showers

Disliked Washing up station only had cold water on field.
Men's changing rooms only has 1 toilet and 1 shower (only 1 shower working when we stayed). Pretty much always someone in there so a bit limited especially when general public are there swimming.

Staff is super polite and in overall the place itself is amazing.
Disliked The only downside is the noise from the main road located too close to the camping area.

Liked Everything was superb. The location was very convenient with minimal traffic noise, surrounded by nature with beautiful view and access to the lake. Access to regularly cleaned changing rooms with toilets and showers. Very friendly staff and lovely cafe.
Disliked Limited swim sessions. Could benefit from a space for some outdoor activity like volleyball or table tennis or badmington.
