Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Beautiful peaceful location, huge pitches, massive gaps between pitches, great woodland walks, beautiful walkable (30min) pub in Elsted.
No wifi but good 4g phone signal.
Not the site for you if you like/need lots of facilities.
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked This was an amazingly beautiful site, with lovely open spaces for the kids to play and all pitches were well spaced out so they didn’t annoy anyone. Great idea to have an old tractor wheel for fires which we made use of.
Excellent site, will 100% be returning
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Great location, friendly staff, clean facilities and so convenient with a fire pit on the pitch. First time at the campsite and we had a great time.
Disliked No comment, it was great

A great location for that wild camping feel.
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Wide open space with a few fields to choose from to pitch. Lots of fire pits dotted around but you can pitch anywhere. Very laid back feel. Perfect ground for tent pegs - no stones. The facilities are basic so check the photo's - you will know if this is your kind of site.
Disliked The grass was long when we stayed - a few paths mown in would have been good e.g. from the camping field to the toilet block.

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Nothing to dislike the place is perfect and the owner is extremely polite and understanding if you have made a mistake booking for example.
Lovely wild camping experience on the Serpent Trail.
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Lovely location right on the Serpent Trail. We came to do the recce for the forthcoming ultra, the campsite is about 5.5 miles from the finish line. Spacious with fire pits provided, decent and clean facilities for a "wild campsite."
Massive thanks to Angus, who went above and beyond when my car wouldn't start and sorted out the jump start in minutes. Thank you so much
Great wild camping site, with each pitch having a free firepit.
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Peaceful nature, space and freedom, free firepit at each pitch. Angus is friendly always only at the end of a phone if any issues.
Disliked Toilets weren't as clean as on previous stays, some locks didn't work either.

Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked This was a lovely quiet campsite. As this site is advertised as wild camping, the shower was hot and good quality and there were 3 flushing toilets with a couple of sinks on the side although these were not plumbed in. For a wild camping site, this was great!
Disliked Nothing really. It would have been great to have plumbed in sinks but as I said for a wild campsite this was great.
From the manager: Hi Sam, Thanks for the good review. Just to let you know sink is now fixed and plumbed in. Thanks Angus
