What customers say
Great wild camping spot with huge, quiet areas in stunning scenery. Lots of space, natural beauty, and walking. Basic but good facilities, cool outdoor shower, and fire pits are a hit. A few toilet quirks and soggy access after rain, but the owner's keen to fix things.

Great!
Hillside unpowered grass campervan or tent site
Liked Great stay, exactly what I was looking for! Nice grass field, fire pit in place ready to go, logs on sale on site at reasonable price, owner very friendly, no complaints whatsoever! Would defo reccomend! Toilets are clean, didn't use the showers but looked decent! Get yourself down there if looking at this place as an option!

Beautiful campsite, fab spot, but unmaintained facilities let it down
Hillside unpowered grass campervan or tent site
Liked Fabulous camping spots probably anywhere in the two large fields - we had lovely views of the downs in the distance, great walks around and you can access the Serpent’s Trail from there too. The showers looked fine but we didn’t use them.
Disliked The toilets! Nice idea but poorly maintained, dark and cramped. There were plumbed in hand basins in each one but they didn’t seem to have been used for a long time so hand sanitiser dispensers were fitted instead. The two large washing up sinks (one tap to share!) were in the the same state - unusable. The facilities let this campsite down - fine for a night or two but we wouldn’t be able to return for a longer stay - which is what we were hoping for.

Liked Lovely quiet site with lots of space to pitch. We went on the hillside which offered some shade around edges. Toilets and showers basic but functional.

Hillside unpowered grass campervan or tent site
Liked Natural and beautiful location, fabulous views and dark, star filled skys. A relaxed and wonderfully wild campsite. A real get away hideaway.
Disliked The toilets and showers are barely adequate, but this is part of the basic charm of the location

Perfect for a peaceful retreat
Hillside unpowered grass campervan or tent site
Liked My little dog and I had a lovely time at Clarefield Copse. We found a shady pitch which gave us loads of space so we could properly relax. The ground was just right for getting tent pegs in which was a bonus. The showers and toilets were basic but clean and usable.
Disliked The ground on the mown paths was very uneven in places which made it difficult to walk on especially in the dark.

Prefect stop
Oak Tree Field unpowered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent site (family)
Liked Brilliant what a lovely peaceful site, very laid back attitude our dogs absolutely loved it. Shower was fun to use, very hillbilly type and loo's fine. Only thing that would have been useful is an information board regarding surrounding area, spoke to a local who said follow the path near the lake to get to village pub however when we tried the route was blocked. Nice idea with the firepits although we didn't use this time. Made a great stop over for Guildford.
