Lune fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: The friendly relaxed feel. Quiet location. Rural setting with views across open country side. Large shower enclosures. Used the room marked for accessible use as this had a hose type shower head. The others had large overhead rain head style. Dedicated water tap to pitch. Although our hose didn’t reach. Poor 4G signal. No wifi. Only bins we found were off the site next to buildings. Easy footpath walk to local pub and public golf club and garden centre.
Disliked: The site is definitely work in progress. Didn’t like the long narrow pitches which reduced the space between adjacent pitches. Not enough information on the two areas. We stayed on Lune but the pitches on the opposite side of the shower block were flatter and more established. Roger did give us the option to change pitch but we were only staying two nights. No information on cost or how to use the washing machine and dryer.

Lune fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: Easy to find the site and pitch. It is a bit remote but after setting up we went for a walk, go to the very end pitch, there's a hi Vis jacket on the fence post next to a path. Follow it, through the gate and onto the pathway. Left takes you to The Stork pub, keep walking past the few houses, it's in the corner, fabulous meals and friendly staff. If you cross the bridge and walk it brings you to The Dalton pub at Glasson dock, again fab pub with food. Site is a bit basic actually but no problem with the clean showers and toilets, just beware of the very hot water. It was quite busy actually on the site, very peaceful. Beautiful views across the Lune, great if your a photographer, sea birds were amazing. Pitches not quite level but who cares, will go back.
Disliked: If I had to say something, I think it's a bit over priced. Maybe £25 would be better , even £30. No shop around so you need to take your essentials.

Seafield fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked: Location, tranquility, peace. Clean and warm facilities. Big pitches with large grassed area. Lots of birds and wildlife. Roger is always around at different times of the day should you need him. If you need to chill then this is the place. We do lots of weekends here as its not far from where we live. We love it here and our dogs are welcome. We come home relaxed and refreshed after a busy week at work. Back again next weekend!
