Wonderful Site

喜欢 Hard standing pitch size was perfect for my car with roof tent and awning at the rear.
Very quiet too. There were no tent campers at all. Just a couple of motorhomes. A dog was barking at 10pm but the owner soon got it to be quiet. No kids either.
Great facilities. Washing up and showering / toilet areas were clean and spacious.
Electric hook up was great.
Water tap right at the pitch too which was very handy.
Location is perfect and if you walk thru the fields to the footpath you can get to the village pub on 12 minutes.
Easy barrier access. Just type the code and drive in / out.
Code access to showering. Nice and safe and secure.
We stayed on site as we were in a roof tent and awning, so couldn’t be bothered packing everything and going out. But it was the hottest three days of the year at 31 degrees. Evening was lovely and cool/breezy. Enjoyable stay.
不喜欢 Nothing. It’s a no frills site without kids play areas and on site shops / pub. Just a lovely quiet site.

Lots of wildlife we were lucky enough to see a deer on the site. A tranquil stay a lovely 20 min walk to the stork pub. We would definitely like to return.

不喜欢 Could do with WiFi as you struggle with 4/5G when trying to plan your day etc & on a night time if watching tv etc

喜欢 Roger was very accommodating for us. Lovely quiet location. One of the cleanest facilities I’ve found at a camp site. Can’t wait to stay again. Ideal if you want a quiet night away from noise and no children.
