Lune fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked 2nd visit here over the bank holiday weekend. Every pitch taken but shower and toilet block felt like an empty site, due to the over generous facilities. Great area to explore. Would recommend the short walk to The Stork Hotel for food and drinks. Then a 5 min walk to Glasson marina, with a half decent Thwaites pub.

Lune fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked I love the location as I used to live nearby and can visit all my favourite haunts. It 's nice having the garden centre cafe close by too.
The shower and washroom facilities are lovely, secure and clean

Disliked I was camping on my own with my dog so the cost per night seemed high. It would have felt fine to pay that amount if others were staying with me as the cost per person would have been very reasonable.

What customers say

This quiet, adults-only site offers peaceful countryside surroundings with plentiful wildlife. Guests praise the generous, level pitches and excellent, modern shower and toilet facilities. Direct access to walking and cycling routes, including paths to Glasson Dock and Lancaster, is a major highlight. Nearby amenities include a garden centre and a pub, both within easy walking distance. While some noted occasional issues with pitch conditions during wet weather or the need for improved signage, many guests highlight Roger's helpfulness and the overall tranquil atmosphere, with many planning return visits.

Seafield fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Stayed on a fully serviced pitch (7), nearly level, just required 1 bit of a lift on one side and a slight raise at the front.
The facilities block is absolutely spotless even the eslan point is clean and tidy. Easy access and a great central location for exploring the area.
Some great little walks to be had even with a dodgy hip. A stroll along the lune estuary foot path will take you to The Stork for a meal, a beer or both, and avoids walking down the a588. You can walk round to Glasson Dock there's plenty of benches along the route or make your way to Lancaster in the opposite direction.
This is a really peaceful site but is inundated with wildlife if you keep yours eyes open.
Marsh Harriers to oyster catchers, foxes deer etc.etc
We will definitely be going back here.

Disliked No dislikes, signal was a bit weak but I could say that's a blessing 😜
