Liked: We loved our stay at black beck farm for my 36th birthday. The cabin provided some great family memories, toasting marshmallows in the evenings. The park had space for the kids to run around in the fresh air and the wild bunnies where an added extra bonus. Lots of walks around the park and it was a short drive into Ulverston. Great stay!

Disliked: Spiders! There were a few webs too as expected in a cabin. Husband was on hand to sort that out for us!

From the manager: Happy birthday 🥳 wish we had known it was your birthday, many happy returns!! So pleased you enjoyed the marshmallows around the fire pit in our glamping lodge - but so sorry about the wildlife spiders, it seems to be different times of year when they head indoors, glad your husband sorted them for you, Glad you enjoyed some great family time together making great memories 💕 Thank you for leaving our accommodation so clean and tidy, much appreciated Let’s hope we can welcome you back again one day With our best wishes Ann and Neil

1 bedroom camping pod

Liked: The roe deer Lodge we stayed in was lovely, couldn't fault it in any way

Disliked: Not a dislike but the site could do with a few more toilets and showers, in the ladies there were only 2 of each, in the height of summer with a full site I suspect there would be a fair bit of queuing

From the manager: Many thanks for taking the time to leave us this review We are pleased you thought our glamping lodge was lovely and that you would return and recommend to friends Our washroom facilities do have two showers, two loos and two sinks in both the gents and ladies, In the future, when funds allow, we are planning to upgrade our washroom facilities, which will have more showers and toilets available, Let’s hope we can welcome you back again to try them out. Kindest regards Ann and Neil

Bow Top gypsy caravan

Liked: I stayed at Bow Top for 2 nights, what an amazing place! Small but beautifully put together and had everything you could possibly need for a quiet peaceful get away. The accommodation was lovely, it even had its own picnic / seating area, which was a nice surprise. The toilets, showers and washing up area were clean and well looked after and the family were very warm and welcoming. Overall, a lovely place to stay and the scenery was fantastic!
