From the manager: Thanks for your review. We’re pleased you liked the site and facilities. Although there aren’t shops nearby, there are lots of lovely walks around Ullswater if you fancy getting out and about. As for the bar and chippy, our staff do need their well‑earned time off, so opening days can vary but we always aim to offer the best service when we’re open. Thanks again for your feedback.

Liked We loved staying over, such a well organised place and such a variety to set up your tent. Lovely views and everything you need.
Wifi wasn’t the strongest everywhere but that was the least of our concerns. If was about bbq, conversations and connecting with the nature time.
