What customers say
This park is highly praised for its beautiful woodland and riverside setting, with excellent access to Lowther Castle and local walks. Visitors highlight the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities (including baths), and a convenient on-site bakery and pub. While generally quiet and well-maintained, some reviewers noted issues with dated shower blocks, WiFi connectivity, and occasional noise. A few also mentioned pitches being close together or uneven.

Whilst a nice site it had some issues which let it down
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Site was lovely and clean with great dog walks and lovely and quiet at night
Disliked Showers flooded the area as curtains too short and toilet blocks were not cleaned daily as they should be. Some blocks were out of use with no notice on the door. Shop wasn’t open when we were there and considering how far to nearest town and how many static vans were occupied what were you to do if you ran out of essential items.
