  • Touring site with stunning fell views 10 minutes’ drive from Keswick
  • In the Lake District National Park; Walla Crag 10 minutes’ drive
  • Basic pitches with modern showers; shop and pub 10 minutes’ walk
With a spectacular backdrop of lakeland fells such as Blencathra, Skiddaw and Latrigg, The Willows is a gorgeous spot for touring or campervan holidays in the Lake District National Park. Set just outside the village of Braithwaite (five minutes’ drive) and easily accessed from the A66, this farm site is also 10 minutes’ drive from the cafés and galleries of Keswick. On site, you can buy essentials such as free-range eggs, fresh milk, butter and a selection of dairy produce too. Most other basics (and stuff for barbecues) can be found at the local shop (10 minutes’ walk), which is open seven days a week. There’s a pub and tearoom in Braithwaite too. The rural setting of The Willows combines with modern amenities in the wooden shower block to make your stay both effortless and peaceful. Dogs and kids are more than welcome, and you can all stretch your legs (or paws) on walking trails right from the pitches. Please just keep your dogs on leads around the site as there are farm animals in the vicinity.
