喜欢 Small site in a fantastic location with lovely views. The owner Lindsey was around and she was really friendly and helpful. The local village (with good pub choices and a corner shop) was just a very short walk away. Toilets and washing facilities were basic but adequate. Would definitely use this site again 👍

喜欢 View was spectacular. Hook ups and water right by pitches made life easy. Owners were super friendly and helpful. Showers / toilets / washing up facilities were great and cleaned regularly. Central to walks in the area. Wi-fi was better than at home (!) if you need to stay in touch as signal with mountains can be a bit dodgy.

不喜欢 Hard pitches make it difficult to put pegs in the ground - just be aware if planning to put up an awning. However, great for levelling your van and all weather.

来自经理: Thank you so much for your reivew Rachel, we wish we could have had some grass on the pitches but as the field next door to the site reflects its a very wet part of our farm so the hard standing was our only option. I have added a note to the welcome information though so that people know to bring sturdy pegs etc so thank you. Lindsey

喜欢 Very friendly and very clean site good value and Lindsey the owner/cleaner/general manager was very helpful and accommodating

不喜欢 no dislikes. You get exactly what you pay for.

喜欢 Lovely site within walking distance of 3 dog friendly pubs.
Toilet and shower facilities were clean and tidy.

喜欢 Good clean facilities. Excellent showers and washing up . Level hard standing pitches.

不喜欢 Better marking of pitches. We had to take the van out one day and left markers to say the pitch was taken. When we returned, vans had parked both sides of our pitch leaving us barely a metre each side. I suspect this is not legal from a safety aspect (fire risk). Fortunately we were able to move to another pitch which did have planters marking the pitch. Hopefully this will be done for all pitches.

来自经理: Good morning, the pitches on the left of the site are the numbered, dedicated, motorhome pitches. I will maybe add a note to say that we would like guests to park on the left hand side only, the area you are referring to that has no planters or markings to the right alongside the field is not marked out for motorhomes as we are putting two more of the safari tents in that space. Thank you for pointing it out to me though I will definitely add a note to the booking information right away.

喜欢 Perfectly located just off the A66, this peaceful caravan site offers stunning, uninterrupted views of Blencathra, Skiddaw & Latrigg. 🏔️
Every pitch feels like a front-row seat to the Lake District's natural beauty. 📸
Modern, clean facilities with a bathroom to die for. Warm and friendly owners.
Amazing glamping tents with wood fired hot tubs too.

喜欢 The site is smaller than some others in the area but offers a range of facilities. Its location is convenient for exploring the Lake District. The owners are attentive to guests' needs. This site is consistently chosen for visits.
