What customers say
This campsite offers an excellent location, a short walk from Keswick town centre, praised for its cleanliness and well-maintained toilet facilities. Guests found it reasonably priced and convenient, though some noted the lack of showers and a washing-up area. Issues with noise and tent spacing were raised, but management has stated they are reviewing these aspects to improve enforcement of quiet hours and pitch management. Pegging can be difficult due to gravel beneath the surface.

Clean site in great location.
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Lots of space to set up, clean and easy site. Basic but well maintained. Camped during storm Dave and was fine due to the high fences around the site protecting us.

Liked Location is brilliant, really close to the town but also very quiet. There are just toilet facilities but they’re very clean and nice, the car park is really handy and loads of spaces.
Disliked A bit unclear what to do when you arrive, and didn’t see any signs advising us if we needed to check in or let anyone know, but some people might like that.

Very good. I'd definitely use this site again.
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Great location only a ten minute walk away from the town centre. Reasonably priced and managed to book a pitch at very short notice. The site was surprisingly quiet, too, considering its close proximity to the busy town.
Disliked Not far beneath the turf on the field was apretty solid hard-core base making inserting tent pegs pretty hard work.
