General

  • Quiet setting on the edge of a forest
  • On a farm with an equestrian centre
  • Newly built amenities

Wideham Farm is in a quiet location, backing on to King's Forest, just outside the village of West Stow. It is ideal for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and those who just want to get away and relax.

We have free-range chickens and welcome well-behaved dogs. Guests have access to the site's newly built pavilion shower and toilet block.

Please note we are a quiet adults-only site, in a quiet location. We kindly ask for everyone's enjoyment that guests keep noise to a minimum, with no noise after 10pm. No ball games please.

Lovely site with friendly owners and clean modern facilities 17/07/2018

Lovely location with fantastic walks straight into the adjacent forest. Excellent clean and modern showers. Plenty of level space in the non-electric field. Interesting to have horses there to admire.

    Disliked:

Inconvenient that there is no freezer available to refreeze ice-packs. This is kind of essential for tent campers in the summer.

Lovely spacious pitches on level ground. Owners were welcoming and friendly and the site was well organised without a myriad of rules, and this was appreciated and respected by all campers who were all respectful of the site, facilities and other users. Facilities seem new and were well looked after and clean (I never use site facilities but I did use the showers and looks here). New seating areas being developed whilst we were there and every effort made to make the site even better. Loved the fact that it was adult only. Plenty of places to visit nearby with the forest, gardens and Saxon Village in walking distance (as was a lovely breakfast in the Saxon Village cafe).
It was extremely hot whilst we were there and there is no shade but we could see there have been trees planted, when these grow, they will add some shade as well as form to the site.
    Will definitely visit again.
