What customers say
This well-maintained campsite offers peaceful surroundings next to a marina and canal, with a convenient location for exploring Lichfield and local attractions. Visitors frequently praised the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities (especially showers), and spacious, level pitches. The proximity to a highly-rated canal-side pub was also a significant plus. Some minor drawbacks mentioned included dated shower blocks, occasional noise from nearby roads/trains, and a deposit for facility keys. Improvements in pitch drainage and bin management were noted by some.

Very nice site with good facilities and quiet pitches.
Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch
Liked - good facilities. The bathrooms were clean, well-maintained, water was hot and there was a radiator too.
- quiet pitches with enough space. Looked like hedges have been planted too so when they grow more there will be more privacy.
- pitches don’t face other caravans. We could even see one of the canal boats from our pitch even though it was further up the bank.
- pitches are clean and tidy.
- short walk from caravan pitches to the facilities / reception.
- staff on site between 8:30am and 5pm every day and easy to contact.
- out of hours check in was very easy.
- we had mobile signal the whole time we were there so didn’t need the wifi.
Disliked - nothing, it was a nice stay.
