喜欢 Tranquil site on side of marina. 15 minutes walk along canal to the pub The Plough. Good place to visit National Memorial Arboretum

不喜欢 Hard standing pitches made up of sharp stones. The lack of respect for other shower users that some people had( nothing that owners can do)

喜欢 Nice quiet pitch, no frills but clean and tidy facilities. Perfect stop over for us travelling North & easy walk to the local pub for great food. Would recommend getting the key for the main toilet blocks and access to the towpath.

不喜欢 If you don’t book a services pitch, the only water is by reception and non serviced pitches are a long way from the toilets.

喜欢 Fully serviced level gravel pitch

不喜欢 Overgrown hedges around pitch, and the access, particularly the narrow hump-backed bridge over the canal. The pitches are quite close together, and neighbours chatting and drinking alongside us until 1 o'clock in the morning was upsetting, on a warm night when we needed to leave windows open for ventilation. The dense hedge also reduced the breeze.Give me an open, spacious CL anytime.

Who says you have to travel miles to find peace?

We spent the weekend at Kings Orchard Marina in our TentBox on a non-electric pitch, and it was exactly what we needed. Waking up to beautiful views, surrounded by nature, with the canal just a few steps away, felt like a complete reset.

Everything about the site is so well looked after. It’s clean, peaceful and has such a calm atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was cycling along the canal towpaths, slowing the pace of life and simply enjoying being outdoors.

The biggest surprise is that it’s only down the road from home, yet it feels like you’ve escaped the city completely. Sometimes the best adventures are the ones closest to home.

A huge thank you to The Plough for the fantastic food and genuinely warm hospitality. It was the perfect end to each day.

Kings Orchard Marina has definitely become our new go-to escape. We’ll be back again and again.

喜欢 Privacy of individual pitches; fully serviced; garbage and toilet disposal nearby; adequate site lighting; helpful receptionist. Some noise from nearby rail line, but not enough to disturb us at might. Very handy for interesting sights in Lichfield.

不喜欢 Hedges round pitches overgrown and need to be trimmed - pyracantha, not a plant to be argued with! Limited TV reception. No WiFi.

喜欢 We liked the peace and quiet of a mid-week pitch with nothing between us and the open fields (trains in the distance were an interesting bonus rather than a nuisance).

喜欢 I was really surprised how nice this campsite was and where it was, I didn't take enough notice while booking I was just trying to finds somewhere close to Drayton Manor. This site so beautiful, quiet and calm, spacious pitches, Sat round bbq late into night chatting away. The toilets were clean and good showers. especially liked access to tow path, was the high light of my weekend while trying to keep cool. Spent my early mornings watching the wild life in field, supermarket 10mins drive away. Staff were friendly and helpful
