Liked Where do I even start! An Absolutely amazing camp site! The best we have been to in a while, clean showers & toilets! Washing up facilities, Lots of open space for the kids to play, a lovely well kept play area! Great size pitches! All pitches were used up and the space that was left was incredible not over crowded at all, so much thought into having that open space for everyone, even adults playing football once the kids had gone 😂😂 we forgot our electric hook up and they kindly lent us one for the night! Well stocked shop with everything you need, amazing cakes, beer, meat, eggs, toys for the kids! Honestly can not fault it at all! We can not wait to go again!
Disliked We have to go to work so couldn’t stay any longer 😂😂

Liked We absolutely loved everything about this campsite and will be returning hopefully within the next couple of months. It’s in a beautiful location with stunning views, the campsite and facilities were spotless. We particularly loved the farm shop which had a great variety of food and drinks, and was very reasonably priced. Really friendly staff as well, we can’t fault anything about our stay.

Peaceful, great views, weekend escape, great for kids and dogs
Electric grass pitch
Liked Stayed for a 3 night weekend getaway in our caravan during the first weekend of July. The site was immaculate and facilities spot on. We use our own shower so can’t comment on the shower block, but everything else was well kept, clean and tidy. Onsite farm shop was great and staff friendly. Great space for the kids to play. Ideal countryside location with beautiful fields, views and peace and quiet. Being only 40 mins away from home for us, we are already thinking about booking another stay and we can’t wait to return!
Disliked Wish we could have stayed longer!

The clean toilet and shower block…
Electric grass pitch
Liked The clean toilet and shower block and how clean the site was!
Disliked Thought it was expensive for 1 night was waken very early at 7am with the farmer cutting the grass in the same field we were in. Thought it was very ignorant.

From the manager: Thanks for the review and thanks for staying although we do ask that groups contact us in advance to discuss a booking rather than book individually.
Pleased to hear you appreciated the clean site, we work hard to look after it. We cut the field and pitches every week from 8am at the earliest (usually on a Thursday). We try not to disturb anyone on site by starting at the bottom of the field and in the lane, it's harder in the summer when there are generally more guests on site. We usually manage to get the pitches cut between 11am when people have checked out and 1pm before new guests arrive. I don't think you and your friends left until about 1pm.
Sorry you thought we were expensive. I understand it cost more than you expected once we charged for all the children that hadn't been booked in.
Thanks again, Liz, Dave and Erica
Our first stay here and will be definitely coming back.
