Great play area for children & the site is obviously very well cared for!

Ik was blij met Fantastic place, beautiful views, large pitch, very quiet and extremely clean showers and toilets.
The chickens were a particular highlight watching them wandering about occasionally visiting our tent.

Ik was blij met Warm welcome. Stunning quite site. Beautiful clean facilities and a farm shop with everything you could forget or need to top up dinner.

Ik was blij met Everything! Our first trip out in our motor home and it didn’t disappoint. Very friendly welcome, site well maintained, toilets and showers spotless and a lovely farm shop on site- the eggs were delicious!

Ik was blij met Very helpful staff and owners who went out of their way to ensure my pitch was ok as a solo parent camper.
Large pitches
Beautiful open spaces
Great park on site
Handy shop with lovely cakes and breakfast pastries
Clean toilets and showers
Nice touch to see the chickens, geese and peacock roaming the site.

Ik was blij met The farm shop is lovely and the staff are lovely

Ik was niet blij met There wasn’t enough showers on site for the amount of people that were there, also there was dogs off the lead most of the time which scared my dog and granddaughter there was dog mess towards the outskirts of the site mostly by the chicken coop and the park which was disgusting other tents did not stick to the rules at night and they were quite loud up until at least 1am and the caravan opposite my tent was peeing outside my tent in the middle of the night

Van de manager: The new shower block is in the final stages of the planning process, if granted we will begin work on it right away, having it up and running by the new year.
Everyone is told that dogs need to be on a short lead at all times, dogs that are not, need to be reported to us so we can ensure it doesn't happen again
The dog mess, is actually the geese, they are wild geese, they have adopted our campsite and there is not a lot we can do about them unfortunately. They normally stay at the bottom of the field but have been venturing further in the hot weather for food and water.
We do do walk about at around 10.30, to check that people are quietening down, but we do not expect campers to be in bed and silent. Although 1am is unacceptable, and had we known this it would have been sorted.
I do apologise for the man peeing outside your tent, that is certainly unacceptable, but again, unless we know about these things we cannot do anything about it.
I am sorry that this seems a bit of a rant, but we cannot stress enough that if these matters were brought to our attention we could have made your stay much better for you.

Van de manager: Thank you for your review, with regards to your dislike, unfortunately we do not have the option of booking in anywhere else. we wanted to have our shop and reception on the field but were not granted our planning consent, hence we have to greet you at the gate. We do try and move people along if we have a queue.

Ik was blij met Very spacious pitches, enough space for our caravan, dog fence and car to go side by side. Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing play area which our little one loved. Clean facilities and a lovely little shop which supplied more than you would expect. We tried their own tomato and basil pasta sauce and it was very nice!
