What customers say
This campsite consistently gets top marks for its friendly, helpful staff, super clean site, and roomy spots. Guests love the great farm shop and popular kids' play area. Washrooms are clean but some found them small; expansion is planned. Peaceful vibe and beautiful scenery make it a must-visit again spot.

Liked The farm shop is lovely and the staff are lovely
Disliked There wasn’t enough showers on site for the amount of people that were there, also there was dogs off the lead most of the time which scared my dog and granddaughter there was dog mess towards the outskirts of the site mostly by the chicken coop and the park which was disgusting other tents did not stick to the rules at night and they were quite loud up until at least 1am and the caravan opposite my tent was peeing outside my tent in the middle of the night

From the manager: The new shower block is in the final stages of the planning process, if granted we will begin work on it right away, having it up and running by the new year.
Everyone is told that dogs need to be on a short lead at all times, dogs that are not, need to be reported to us so we can ensure it doesn't happen again
The dog mess, is actually the geese, they are wild geese, they have adopted our campsite and there is not a lot we can do about them unfortunately. They normally stay at the bottom of the field but have been venturing further in the hot weather for food and water.
We do do walk about at around 10.30, to check that people are quietening down, but we do not expect campers to be in bed and silent. Although 1am is unacceptable, and had we known this it would have been sorted.
I do apologise for the man peeing outside your tent, that is certainly unacceptable, but again, unless we know about these things we cannot do anything about it.
I am sorry that this seems a bit of a rant, but we cannot stress enough that if these matters were brought to our attention we could have made your stay much better for you.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, with regards to your dislike, unfortunately we do not have the option of booking in anywhere else. we wanted to have our shop and reception on the field but were not granted our planning consent, hence we have to greet you at the gate. We do try and move people along if we have a queue.
Thank you for staying at Teds.

Lovely site for a nice chilled time away!
Powered grass campsite
Liked Very spacious pitches, enough space for our caravan, dog fence and car to go side by side. Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing play area which our little one loved. Clean facilities and a lovely little shop which supplied more than you would expect. We tried their own tomato and basil pasta sauce and it was very nice!

Great stay, would return.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Bathrooms are very clean, great playground for the kids. Could have a awning and large tent at no extra charge. We had an incredible time and would be happy to return.
Disliked If I had to give a dislike it's that there was goose poo everywhere and we never had an issue with the geese, however another family pitched close to us often where screaming and running away from them.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you for the review! The geese have been very bold this summer, they are usually just at the bottom of the field.... something for us to have a think about. Glad they didn't bother you and that you have a great time here, look forward to seeing you again Liz, Dave, Erica and Eliza
