What customers say
This peaceful, well-maintained site boasts beautiful lakeside pitches and stunning views, making it ideal for watersports and wildlife enthusiasts. Guests frequently praise the friendly staff, spacious pitches, and the abundance of activities for children. While the facilities are generally clean, some visitors noted they are dated and could benefit from an update. Some reviews mentioned noise from early morning ducks and occasional muddy pitches, but overall, the site is highly recommended for a relaxing family break.

Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch (waterside)
Liked Beautiful views and a lovely, peaceful setting. Warden was really helpful, and always on hand when needed. Would definitely return!
Disliked Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t work and mobile signal was very poor, which made it difficult to stay in contact while we were there. Arrival information was also quite vague, and we weren’t informed that the welcome letter would be attached to the closed reception. I would have hoped that the reception would have been open for reduced hours for essentials as an all year round site.

Liked Friendly staff. Although there was no one at reception I was phoned before hand to ensure I knew how to get onto the site and the pitch number.
It was clean and tidy.
Lovely outlook, overlooking the lake
Disliked As there was no one at the reception we had no information about free WiFi or nearby facilities, ie - a bar. An information sheet of information on the door would have been useful.
