What customers say
Stunning lake views, ace for water sports & fishing. Staff get a thumbs-up, as do facilities & pitches. Some reckon loos/showers are a bit old-school, and it can get boggy after heavy rain. Great for wildlife, close to attractions.

Great family site
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked Cleanliness of the site, friendly staff and people, campsite rules, cleanliness of the lakes, budget friendly
Disliked Toilet and shower block were unsanitary, covered in hair. Paddle boards launching from the beach when children playing in the lakes is an accident waiting to happen

Liked Really great site. Clean facilities. Great water sports. It's also well located as a base for all kinds in the area. 3 nights was not enough. We will be back.
Disliked Ladies toilets could have been better maintained. Down to two by the end of the weekend.

Liked Very well set up and presented. Signs and info were all good.
Disliked Additional charges for paddle board and kayaks which we were not made aware of before arrival. Most other places offer at least one free craft.

Ok for a single night, not nice enough for a holiday stay.
Powered grass caravan site
Liked There were lots of activities to take part in. There is a lovely little shop.
Disliked There was quite a lot of litter. It was particularly bad in the vegetation between camping pitches. Also we were on pitch 30 which was a cut through to other pitches. The toilet block was in need of an update.

Really good value for money . Home from home
Powered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked The access to the beach in an enclosed area . The facilities were clean . Lovely and all around the lake. A tractor was doing work whilst we was there by the shower block and the driver let my grandson sit in his seat . A real highlight
Disliked Didn’t like being on the hard standing pitch. Would of preferred a grass pitch

Powered gravel caravan site (waterside)
Liked We have been coming to this site yearly and we do love it here! Really great to wind down, enjoy some paddling and watch beautiful sunsets! Pitches are spacious and the site is well maintained.
Disliked The vibe seemed a little off this year… can’t quite put my finger on it but it wasn’t as welcoming and friendly as previous years. Don’t get me wrong we still had fun but something was a little off…
