What customers say
This campsite boasts a beautiful riverside location and an adjacent, well-regarded pub. While many visitors praise the peaceful atmosphere, spacious pitches, and friendly staff, a recurring concern is the condition of the toilet and shower facilities, frequently described as dated, in need of repair, and sometimes unclean. Some guests experienced issues with site maintenance and signage, though others found the basic facilities perfectly adequate for the price.

Avoid at all costs, never been to a more uncared for, filthy campsite.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked If you are a self contained camper van or motorhome unit then you'll be fine as you'll not have to venture into the washing up area or toilet/showers.
Disliked The owner(s) should be embarrassed by the total state of everything. The wash area was dirty and we had to clean it before we attempted to put any dirty washing up down. The toilets and showers are a disgrace. Never ever have I stayed in such a run down, uncared for campsite.
The water in the mop bucket that was being used to clean the toilet block was a bio hazzard.
Avoid this place at all cost, which is a shame as it has potential due to its quiet, riverside location.
You have been warned.

Liked Quiet location on our visit. Nice pub adjacent by the R. Severn.
Disliked Facilities very basic in a poor state of maintenance. Owners should take more responsibility for this. £20 per night though was pretty reasonable.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Like the laidback atmosphere and the position good food and beer all at a good price at the local pub.
Disliked Grounds could have been better for not much money. Toilet block let it down has been improved but still let's an excellent site into an OK site.

Despite dislikes ... would definately stay again.
Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Very informal feel. Yards from a pub serving good ale, good food. We stayed over a weekend and enjoyed live music each night .
Disliked Toilets and showers a little tired although perfectly adequate. Not as user friendly for motor homes as some sites (so no specific easy service area for grey waste disposal).
Considering all the above I would say the day rate was a little 'topside'.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Location, great vibe, excellent pub on site. Live music the Friday and Saturday we were there. Informal. Friendly staff & campers. Taxi, cheap enough from town.
Disliked Walk into Tewkesbury, need to get the boat back to take you across the river.
Toilet facilities could be better.
