Liked Nice clean facilities, quiet destination abd extremely scenic with a warm welcome from the black and white cat who greats every new arrival to the site
Disliked The grass was growing at quite a rate so could have been a bit shorter.

Liked We love it here. The location is beautiful as are the sunsets. We enjoy seeing the donkeys and local farm animals. There are great walks near by. The owner is really friendly and keeps the facilities very clean at all times. We like a fire pit and having our 3 dogs with us.
Disliked weekdays are heavenly here but the weekends can get busy so arrive early to get a decent spot.
It is a windy spot so ensure your tents or gazebos are firmly secured.

Liked Gorgeous scenery in the whole area. Farm animals to look at and pet. Friendly owner. Nice toilets, facilities were really very clean.
Great hiking in the area. Dogs were welcomed and all on lead.
Disliked Campers pitch up within centimetres of each other, if there was a fire it would quickly spread. We woke up to a tent blocking us in so they would have to unpeg their tent for us to drive our camper out. Not the owners fault but maybe over booked.

Liked The surrounding countryside is lovely and the facilities on site are good and clean.
Disliked Lack of signage on site for checking in,showers and extra toilets, freezer and charging ingredients points.
I know this wasn't just me , as two other customers arrived on site and asked me about checking in and where things were.
I did phone in to check in my arrival and was told that anywhere in the two fields was fine to pitch up. So I avoided the area designated for parking for the Shepherds Rest ( 1 small sign) and pitched to the side of the Rest and near the toilets. Not blocking the view of the shepherd's Rest and by no means impeding the parking.
The next morning it was requested that I move my tent for my 2nd night as apparently this area was also not meant to be pitched in, not clear at all!
Again better signage and also a bit more understanding, rather than "there is a sign" albeit 20 metres away and on the other side of the Shepherd's Rest would've been appreciated.
It should also be pointed out about the locality/facilities, that when it says a nice Pub within walking distance, it fails to mention that said Pub, is only open Thursday through to Sunday.
