Ellesmere, Shropshire, England
Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Very helpful owner, gave us a map and lots of information about the area. Lovely spot by the mere with woodland, which the dogs loved exploring. Nice walk to the local pub and also easy reach of Ellesmere (also a great route along the canal). Facilities were very clean. The social area is a nice addition.

Pitch Perfect non-electric grass and gravel pitch
Liked Very private and spacious pitch in a stunning setting. The toilet and shower were spotless and the cleaning products/handwash were eco-friendly. The games room is brilliant and the whole place had a lovely feel to it.
Disliked Not many options for dog walking from the site.

From the manager: Thank you very much for your lovely review. It was a bit hot for walking when you were here, but just so you are aware for next time there are lots of lovely walks around the 60 acre farm, and dogs are allowed to run off the lead in fields without livestock. If you wanted to go further afield it is a half hour stroll down a country lane to the dog friendly gastro pub nearby. Hope to see you again soon. With best wishes, Amanda and Ken

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Stunning views, spacious pitch, river access. Very peaceful and relaxing.
Disliked No walks from the campsite without going through the reception yard area where we couldn’t take our dogs as there were resident dogs loose.
