Liked Reviewing on behalf of a friend we camped with - it’s a lovely site! The pitches were well sized and spaced and no one was camped on top of each other. The showers and toilets were lovely and clean and the showers were warm which is always a bonus! The owners were polite upon arrival. Nothing to fault at all!

Liked This is a lovely campsite. The pitches are well spaced, we loved how the rows were on levels so campers were sitting at different heights. The showers and toilets were kept incredibly clean. As it’s an equestrian centre too, you can see the beautiful horses which we loved! The site was peaceful, we couldn’t fault it at all.

Liked Loved it! We only stayed for one night which is a shame as we were getting ready to go home from a week of travelling Cornwall. We have never stayed this far north in Cornwall before but throughly enjoyed it. We loved the site! It was incredibly clean, tidy and well looked after. The pitches in the EHU area were well spaced and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The toilets and shower blocks were fantastic and cannot be faulted at all. We have already decided to come back as soon as we can. The owner was lovely and knowledge and happy to share any tips and tricks with us in terms of travelling around if needed.

Liked The site was beautiful. When we arrived we were met with fields of farm land, a lovely drive and a great pitch! We were so happy with where we were placed and could not fault how clean and tidy the pitches were. Each pitch in the electric field had a hedge between them so you feel as though you’re separated from your neighbours. The grass was well kept and tidy too. We tried a cream tea in the cafe which was nice too. The owners were lovely and spoke to us on arrival. Everything is easy to navigate including a sign on each area of camping to confirm who is in which pitch.

Disliked The toilet and shower block. They have so much potential! They are large, plentiful to cover everyone’s needs however they were mouldy and definitely not looked after. The drains in the ladies were smelly and quite unpleasant. The men’s were in a similar state too. This was really disappointing as we have throughly enjoyed the site and would come back

Liked Overall we couldn’t fault this campsite at all. From the second we got on site the owner was kind and attentive and offered loads of things to do for our family as we have 2 dogs. The campsite was lovely with a beautiful view of St Michael’s Mount and the sea. The pitches were a reasonable size and nobody was on top of each other or a disruption which was lovely. The toilets and showers were incredibly clean and tidy and we saw the owner in there everyday cleaning them out. We thought the location was great at first time visitors to Penzance and it was lovey to hear how the site has been in the owners family for some time. The site was safe and perfect for children, dogs and families in general.

Disliked Not a dislike by any means but there is only one sink meaning everyone on site was battling to use it when finished in the loo or to brush teeth etc…

Liked The site despite not being huge, was clean and quiet. The toilets were well kept with plenty of supplies for those who are staying and the shared area in the middle has recycling points, water facilities and a kettle which is handy for those without access to hot water. The pitches were nice and flat which as a family in a van, makes a huge difference.

Disliked Despite making a member of staff aware in the ice cream shop we had arrived, we were then advised to pitch up and someone would come round and check us in properly. We did not see anyone in terms of running the campsite. The showers also did not warm up so brace yourselves for a very brisk shower! Thankfully the weather was hot so the cold wasn’t too much of a concern!

Liked Spacious, good views, clean and well kept toilet - shower rooms. The owners were lovely and informative! We loved this site! As a family with 2 dogs, the walk up the hill to the viewpoint was perfect to wear our 4 legged friends out. It was a very relaxed site and the views of the sea in the morning were gorgeous!

Liked Spacious pitches. The owner greeted to when we arrived and she was lovely! There’s firewood to purchase near the house if needed. We loved the toilet and shower block being an old barn - it kept the feeling of camping in nature going! The wildlife around was stunning. We sat watching an owl overhead at 5am. Overall a wonderful campsite and we all can’t wait to return!

Liked The site was exceptional. Clean, tidy and well looked after. The team who run the site are so lovely. They make time to stop and talk to everyone as they pass. The toilets and showers are some of the cleanest I have ever seen on a campsite. The walks available to the site are well signposted by the site team which was a hit with our son and two dogs. We really enjoyed our stay here and would book again!
