Amazing site. Lovely staff. Clean and tidy. Would go again.
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked First time here and we will definitely return. We got there late on the evening and the tent field is just a free for all so I worried we wouldn’t get anywhere or be cramped up. However we got a nice spot. The camp site was lovely with amazing views. The showers and facilities were spotless. Shop was well stocked and decently priced. Good coffee machine on site (as we didn’t have our own facilities this time).
Disliked The only downside for us (and this is not a fault with the site) was that we got there late and by that time they had stopped taking orders for the pizzas for the next day (Saturday night). You can order these in advance so this would be my advice to others. Plan ahead if you’re there over a weekend.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Good ground, not too stony.
Facilities very good.
Excellent showers.
Hours of shop open.
Well equipped store.
No ducks!
Fire-pit delivery.
Disliked Constantly playing pop music in men’s toilets 24hrs.
Wi-fi not so constant.
We had constantly talking to all hours noisy neighbours but that is no fault of the campsite.

The site was clean and tidy.…
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The site was clean and tidy. The pitches were a good size. Loved the picnic benches on each pitch. The showers are great 50p for 10 minutes which is plenty long enough. They were also clean and tidy. Music playing in the toilet block is a nicely thought extra. The shop was well stocked with essentials and treats. Loved the free dog wash and that they sold dog shampoo in the shop. The dog walk area was great ( our dog loved it) We have stayed in the area before but this site is lovely we would definitely stay again and would recommend.
Disliked They cook on site pizzas on Saturday night and bacon sandwich’s on a Sunday which is great. Unfortunately if like us your stay is in between this there is no cooked food on site. Might be nice if they offered pizzas on a Wednesday especially in the summer holls .
