Orcaber Caravan and Camping Site

喜欢 The site was absolutely superb. So so clean, modern , quiet, well laid out. Owners were lovely and friendly, so helpful. Other guests were great and respectful too. We will definitely return

喜欢 The pitch was great. It had its own drain and a bench that we could sit on and play games/eat. It was also only a short walk to the toilets/shower block and the shop. The staff are all absolutely lovely. Not got a simple complaint about them. The toilets and showers are also absolutely spotless. The shop has everything you could want and there’s an information room with a coffee machine which was a great addition! We’ve been here 3 times now and it’s never failed us.

不喜欢 Our pitch was under a huge tree so it blocked most of the sunlight on a really nice day. We were sat in the shade for most of it. The location is good, in that it’s a beautiful area with nice scenic walks but not so good that if you have a campervan that you don’t want to drive once it’s all set up, you’re pretty stuck there. The pub in the local village was shut for 2 days while we were there so we had to walk for 2 hours to get into Settle. Other than scenic walks there’s not a lot to do, which isn’t a major negative, just depends on what you like to do. For us this wasn’t too bad, we enjoyed the walk.

喜欢 Really liked the Family vibe of the campsite. I am a solo traveller but there was a friendly energy to the site that makes you feel less alone. All staff really helpful. Excellent facilities and location. Well stocked shop.
