Liked Picked a lovely pitch next to two of the fishing lakes, I did have high hopes for fishing, despite the gale force freezing winds and sleet and snow ! Shown to our pitch by Matt who explained everything we needed to know. Yes, it was November and the site was very quiet, just how I like it.. The area is beautiful, so quiet, little light pollution, I loved it ! Despite -2 night times, where 5kw of EHU doesn't go far, so we had to top up another 20 quid.. Showers & toilets immaculate and despite being push button showers, they were very hot and under floor heating helped too Managed a day fishing, on the beautiful lakes and had a good chat with the local fishing guys who were putting distractions across the lakes to stop the Comorants eating the fish.. Lovely to see the geese flying so low and top lake had numerous Curlews, a wildlife haven for me. The sunsets were absolutely amazing and made a very cold stay, an absolute pleasure. Would definitely return x

Liked Everything! Beautiful peaceful site, immaculate and shower rooms were very clean and lovely hot showers. Just need some more hooks on the doors for robes, towels etc.. We ate twice at the bistro.. absolutely gorgeous food and great Chef and front of house Johnny! Great music, I managed to get his playlist off him ! Perfect location for an e bike ride to Cayton Bay & Scarborough, for some fossil hunting, which didn't disappoint! Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Liked Lovely location, fantastic luxury facilities! Chandeliers in the bathrooms, what's not to like !! They have baths too!

Disliked Had to see off a group of teenage girls who I saw looking into our MH. Teenages didn't seem to respect pitches, which in our area, next to the play area, were close together.. Avoid play area, but well policed by wardens

Disliked 10, 000 feral kids running and cycling riot till turned 11pm,.across pitches and cables Avoid the top area completely, absolute nightmare with kids left to run riot with no parental control! I had severe words with a not so delightful young lady who thought it was ok to F & C and other delightful language in front of young children. On hearing my " discussion" with this delightful young child , 2 fathers appeared and thanked me for " dealing with said young Lady " I didn't feel safe on this site, we took everything in at night, I didn't use the facilities, but my partner went to use the men's in the evening and came back to use our MH shower, he said they were in a right mess ! Thank God we we're only there for one night ! I raised the issues with a young lady on reception, this place has no security and is accessible from all routes, especially the horrible single track lane you have gain access by ! Not recommended for anyone who wants a peaceful stay.

Liked Our first trip out in our new motorhome and Cherry Burton didn't disappoint. Easy to find, nice flat site and we were met by 2 lovely young men and shown to our pitch. They showed us the EHU & fresh water point on our pitch, Which was a great size. The shower blocks are all individual with fantastic walk in showers, toilet and modern wash basins..a massive plus for me. There is a marquee tent which is the bar and eating area, we didn't use it, but the music was good, a good dose of 80s & 60s. There is a fast road outside the site, but this didn't bother us at all. We were there for Summer Solstice and had a lovely evening watching the sunset Lots of Red Kites soaring over too x A very quiet and peaceful site, highly recommended

Disliked The grey waste disposal was rather awkward to get to, with a 8m motorhome, but with hubby being a HGV driver, it was ok for him
