Plush Ord House Country Park is set on 42 peaceful, tree-lined acres of private parkland at East Ord, within 10 minutes’ drive of gorgeous Northumberland countryside, historic Berwick-upon-Tweed and sandy Spittal Beach on the North Sea. It’s also easy to access for anyone travelling north or south, as the main A1 is just five minutes away. A whole bunch of facilities at this leafy, landscaped site will make life very easy for you indeed. Travelling with the kids? If your toddlers have energy to burn off, there’s a soft-play centre where they can have a run around, while older kids can keep busy on the playground, activity area and games field. If you’re after a bit of grown-up downtime, simply drift off to the elegant adults-only lounge bar for some peaceful R&R; otherwise head to the family-friendly main bar or book the informal Ord House Lounge Bar and Grill, where there’s a designated kids’ zone. Prettily landscaped pitches are all neatly delineated by clipped hedges. Practical on-site amenities include a laundry service with coin-operated washing machines and dryers, a dish-washing and veg-prep area, and pristine tiled showers in spacious family bathrooms with hair dryers and shaving points.

Liked: Everything great size pitches amenities were spotless there is a bar grill on site we didn’t go but the price list for food looked very reasonable very friendly wardens you pay extra for WiFi £4 for 48 hours Tesco 15 mins walk away or 5 min drive we will definitely return

Disliked: Not a dislike our pitch was on a slope but nothing that putting the van on levelling ramps couldn’t sort

Liked: Easy friendly informative check in Large pitches well spaced in great well kept grounds . The bathroom facilities were the best . Lovely bar restaurant onsite with adult area . Food good - well priced .

Disliked: I understand why there’s a pin lock on bathroom door .. but it s hard to see and a bit of a pain 🙄

Liked: Convenient location for a one night stop over. Level pitch. Nice clean facilities although not enough hooks.

Disliked: Very noisy, the touring pitches are next to the children's play area and there were a number of young teenagers racing round on bikes and shouting to each other until late evening.

Liked: The site is absolutely immaculate and the facilities are amazing. We were only stopping over for one night to break up a long journey down south for the kids but we will be booking the site for an actual break away in the near future

Liked: we stayed for 2 nights and was truly amazed with this site, the toilets and showers were amazing. the pitch was level water and chemical toilet disposal was close by the bar and restaurant was fantastic all staff were polite and welcoming. FANTASTIC

Liked: Friendly welcome, very professional and informative customer pack well presented in a personalised poly pocket. Very clean facilities and well kept grounds, also nice bar and grill.

Disliked: Entrance design not ideal, and might be frustrating if 3 long rigs arrive at once.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 1 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
