Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The camping field was pleasant. Plenty of space, and attractive enough. Although we were in a campervan we were glad we chose that field, because the other field where the electric hook ups were, was so crowded and looked like a carpark.
Disliked Not very well organised. The booking process and the welcome wasn't brilliant. I'd changed our booking a month or so before and had received an email to confirm, but the guy didnt seem to be aware of it. He wasnt very friendly to us or another lady, which is strange because other reviews say it is a friendly place. Maybe just caught him on a busy weekend and he was stressed? The toilet block and washing-up facilities were average. I couldn't see any recycling facilities, but there might have been some somewhere less obvious.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass campervan pitch (medium)
Liked A very friendly welcome. A clean and well managed site in an amazing location. Our pitch (medium sized) was pleasant with wild rabbits to watch! Showers and toilet blocks were clean, with good water pressure/heat.The walk over to Milecastle Inn was so beautiful, with lovely horses frolicking around! So special. The pub was great too! Easy walk to the bus stop to take you to local sites. Highly recommended.
Disliked I liked everything. I was pleased with our pitch. I think the pitches further up the hill are the best (probably a little larger?)

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Beautiful surroundings. Very attractive. Walking distance to a pub. A toilet and shower available which we weren't expecting. Very peaceful.
Disliked The toilet and showers could have been cleaner and needed a few things replaced/repaired. But we weren’t expecting them to be there, so it was a bonus to have them!

Liked I can't comment on an actual stay...we booked to come here and when we arrived I realised we'd booked the wrong place, meaning to book the Stanford Hall grounds for an event. I have given this site a top review because it did look nice and well looked after, but mainly because the warden kindly gave me a refund and was very kind and understanding. I assume this level of attention will be provided throughout anyone's stay!

Top Circle non-electric grass pitch
Liked Really lovely site The pitches are well spaced. Beautiful views. Very clean site. I loved the eco showers - very well designed and clean. The owner let us have 2 friends to visit until 9pm, without an extra charge.
Lovely and peaceful.
Disliked The cabin with the hot water facilities closes at 9pm so if you want to wash up after that time, you have to do so outside with no shelter, and only cold water is available.

Non-electric hardstanding and grass tent or motorhome pitch (large)
Liked I wasn't sure at first when we drove in because it seems as if you're going into some house's drive. But as soon as you drive down the slope, you see the beautiful views, the large, private and well maintained pitches, and well built and well designed facilities. Loved the showers!! The best ever! Loved the nesting swallows and the chickens.
Disliked Just the entrance, but no doubt this area will be established eventually like the rest of the site.

Liked A really friendly campsite. Plenty of pitches. Clean toilet/showers. Showers hot and good power. Lovely food van visiting at weekends. Friendly staff. Great view of the sea in the distance from the higher fields.
Disliked The locks on the portacabin toilets are a bit difficult to lock/unlock.

Non-electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Very easy to get into Bath. We went in mid- October in a camper, so not busy. An attractive site. Facilities fine, but quite basic. We didn't use it, but the sauna looked fab. Secure gate at entrance.

Liked Friendly owners who greeted us. A quiet site (but we were out of season). Easy to walk to The Curlew - an excellent pub. Interesting animals! We loved watching the emus! Two toilets, with sinks.
Disliked We had a van with a sink but if you came without this, be aware there are no washing up or shower facilities at the moment.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Beautiful site. Very picturesque. We went in September so very peaceful. Surrounded by fields and horses. The owner was really friendly and happy for us to stroke and watch the horses. The pub nearby was absolutely delightful. A real gem! Beautiful village with a church - nice to stroll around.
Disliked The showers were cold but that might have been a one off because everything else was perfect!

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked A friendly, attractive site. Amazing location- within walking distance to 2 beaches and a beautiful beachside cafe (Dip and Sea). Onsite owner very friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. Very modern toilets and showers cleaned regularly and thoroughly. Level pitches. Great value.Thank goodness there was a 'quiet after 10' policy because we had a very noisy and disrespectful group across from us.
Disliked There's nowhere currently to wash up, except a cold water tap. The owner said the site is relatively new and said further facilities will come soon. He was keen to make sure campers were happy, so I think he will be installing a washing up station as soon as he can.
