Liked Lovely site, really nice staff. 5 min walk to beach, (i'd say this end is nicer) and all that Ingoldmells has to offer. Bus stop close by as its a bit of a trek to get to Fantasy Island amusement park and other end of beach but 5 mins on the bus. 10 miles to Mablethorpe which i thought was a lovely place to be, spotlessly clean with lots for kids to do

Disliked Toilet blocks could do with a refresh but were spotlessly clean. Only dislike is that toilet/shower blocks is locked at 9pm, however the disabled facility remains unlocked. Not the campsites fault but the beach has a lot of litter, maybe washed up by the sea, the area around fantasy island is a litter dumping ground the local council could make an effort with cleaning the area and they'd have a great resort.

Liked Was a bit apprehensive after reading negative reviews but non materialised. Really enjoyed the stay just an overnight its a big site but didn't feel crowded. Toilets are clean and showers looked decent enough. Worth a 10-15 minute stroll to nearby pubs which were excellent. Can't really comment on other facilities as i didn't use. Onsite staff seemed pretty friendly.

Liked Amazing campsite, great facilities, really nice location and relatively quiet. Bus stop and village pub less than 5 minutes walk. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Toilets and showers are absolutely fine not the poshest but clean and adequate, cleaned once per day. Onsite has a bar and café, didn't try as beer choice was not so good but local pub was great. For touring around the area a 3 day bus pass costs £20 and allows you to travel the coast and inland to the Moors unlimited travel amazing value with regular busses that run to after 11pm. We did Saltburn, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough, Goathland (Harry Potter & Heartbeat), Thornton-Le-Dale (Mathewson's) over 2 days all by bus. Great way to take in the landscapes on the top deck of the bus. Reading the reviews electricity seems to be a negative theme but the shop sells the cards in £1 denominations so not really a problem i used less than £5 over a 3 night stay, and can buy from the onsite pub after shop is closed. If like me you are in an old slow motorhome I would recommend going via Scarborough on the A614 if you are travelling from the South as the moors road A169 is very challenging with steep 20%+ gradients/declines that seem to go forever, but amazingly scenic if you are brave. I will be back next year as we have so much to do still.

Disliked Only minor gripes Build electric costs into the pitch price, More toilets in the gents as there are only 3. Possibly clean the toilets twice a day as they can get messy by 10am. Pushbutton showers which are annoying and cant adjust temperature.

Liked Stayed here with a group of friends in 3 Campers/Motorhomes. Really nice site clean and peaceful. Toilet and showers are nice no complaints here, warning for wheelchair accessibility the main block is not suitable as there are steps, but there maybe another facility so best to phone and check. Brewery tour was lovely and definitely worth the money with ample opportunity to sample the beers. The tours were fully booked however Batemans put on a tour specially for us so again phone and ask if there is a group of you. Location wise absolutely spot on local village 2 minutes walk with all required amenities, train to Skegness takes 10 minutes so all in great place to stay. Will most probably come back again.

Disliked Some areas for improvement which I hope will be taken in consideration. 1. on arrival there was confusion on pitch numbers as they are assigned, there is a cabinet with all the details but it wasn't immediately obvious that we were supposed to look there until another camper told us so just needs a sign on the entrance welcome board with instructions.. 2. Water fill point not immediately obvious and accessible halfway up the field with a hose, maybe fit a water point off the toilet block at the entrance to the site so its quick and easy.

Liked On arrival was greeted by friendly reception staff and Warden came up to us at the pitch to help orientate us to the Camp and surrounding area, a lovely personalized touch. Great well laid out site, bus stop outside so great to go explore with a day pass, Southwold definitely a place to go visit. Good on-site amenities including kids play area, on-site Fish & Chips and a breakfast van, laundry facilities etc. Beach accessible from site and is lovely. Pubs a mile or so in each direction from site entrance. Toilet and shower facilities spotless and cleaned regularly, will happily return.

Disliked Showers have silly timer button that are annoying please change them to longer duration and have the ability to change water temperature. Wi-Fi should be free not chargeable put the pitch cost up if needed, as phone signal is terrible.

Liked Lovely campsite peaceful, great pub with generous food portions and reasonable priced drinks less than 10min walk. We had a powered pitch that had water supply so no effort to setup. Well setout and clearly marked up. Toilet/Shower block was super clean just like the photos, i would happily return.

Disliked Nothing to dislike. An improvement would be to have a kids play area onsite to make it young child friendly.

Liked Nice quiet car park pitch with power bargain price. Only stayed to try out newly acquired camper, friendly welcome and no real stress. Good beer selection, didn't try the food. Pub itself is fairly basic but great covered outdoor area. It is a bikers pub so expect some motorbike noise, had a cheesy Billy Idol tribute the night we stayed which was an unexpected bonus and i would stay here again.
