Good location and facilities, very noisy.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Convenient for Nottingham. Lots of trees. Toilets, showers and washing up sinks are well positioned and there's plenty of space to open and close doors, not block other campers etc.
Disliked Very noisy! Big circle of folding chairs next to our pitch containing 10-11 kids and 2-3 adults. The kids spent all afternoon and evening running and scootering around, screaming and shouting while the adults did nothing. I expect children playing on campsites, but that was oppressively loud. A large group like this should have their own field, not be mixed in with solos and couples. (Plenty of vacant space elsewhere on site.) After they went quiet, music and drunk yelling started up from the area called Private Paddocks. Thankfully quiet by midnight. No staff on site besides a cleaner the following morning.
Height barrier was down on arrival and we weren't sure about our air vent so we phoned the number provided. Rang for ages then got answer machine. Luckily someone was driving out, so we could enter while barrier still up.

Wouldn't stay there again if I was near to the bell tent area
Powered grass campsite
Liked Good site location
Disliked facilities are worn and dated, toilets are not very clean and showers you have to press a button constantly, I understand that system but this one was so quick to turn off. We had two nights of bad sleep due to the bell tent site playing the loudest bass music and screaming on top of their voices all day and all night past half ten which were the rules which made our stay quiet unpleasant. I tried to contact someone to complain but it just went to voicemail.
