  • Pet-friendly site on 235 acres of parkland in Northamptonshire
  • Half an hour's drive from Silverstone; Northampton 15 minutes
  • Fishing lakes, bars and restaurants
Activity and fishing centre Billing Aquadrome is just a couple of miles from Great Billing in Northamptonshire and set over 235 acres of green parkland and lakes. With so much to do around its grounds, it's likely that you'll want to stay put here for your entire trip… and if you do desire to speed off somewhere, Silverstone is only half an hour's drive away. The site has fishing lakes of varying sizes and depths where avid anglers can cast off for carp and common mirror carp, catfish, pike, roach, bream, tench and rudd. Bring along your own fishing kit and an up-to-date licence, and buy a fishing ticket from the team if you want to try your luck. Away from the water, the many other facilities include bars and restaurants (yes, plural, plus a beer garden). Just take note that the bar, beer garden and restaurant are all adults-only from 10pm. There is also a seasonal swimming pool on site. And speaking of the essentials, there are takeaways, a supermarket and shops right on site too, as well as picnic areas, Sky Sports and – if you need your barnet tamed after all that activity – a hairdresser's.

Liked Thought the site was really good, it was a shame that one of the restaurants was closed as it made the other one really busy & messy.

Disliked Entertainment being outside, it was too cold.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

It’s in our nature to provide a great experience for all our guests, so we’re really pleased to hear you thought our park was good overall.

We do appreciate your comments regarding one of the venues being closed, and the impact this had on the other venue. Your feedback is important to us as it helps us review how we manage busy periods and improve the experience for our guests.

We also understand that outdoor entertainment isn’t always ideal, especially in colder weather. The good news is we now have our new venue with a dedicated stage area, so during poorer weather our Tribe Team will be able to move entertainment indoors to ensure a more comfortable experience for everyone.

Thank you again for your feedback, and we do hope to welcome you back in the future.

Shelduck (area 3) powered gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Liked Plenty of space, good size toilet block and best of all, lots of entertaining options for the little ones. Special mention to the pool that is included for free in the stay and it is great with a fantastic slide (for kids and adults alike :) ). It also has entertainment spectacles every day and a pub with a soft play. You can ask for little more. Great experience

Disliked Not as a dislike but If you are looking for a "secluded" or "romantic" place in the middle of nowhere, this is not the place to choose as it is communicated with major roads and very close to the village

From the manager: Thank you so much for your fantastic feedback we absolutely love hearing this!

We’re so pleased you enjoyed the space on park, our facilities, and especially the entertainment for the children. It sounds like you really made the most of everything, and we couldn’t agree more the pool (with that slide!) is always a big hit with both children and adults alike.

We have worked really hard to create a fabulous entertainment programme for 2026, and it’s brilliant to hear it’s being enjoyed. It really is one of the best feelings when you book your holiday and then realise so much is included from the entertainment to activities like swimming… a bit of a bargain, right!

Thank you also for your honest comment regarding the location. As you mentioned, we are a lively, well-connected holiday park with lots going on, which makes us perfect for families looking for fun, entertainment, and a great atmosphere.

And if you are looking for a quieter stay with us, we’d definitely recommend taking a look at our off-peak holidays mid week breaks they’re just right for a slower-paced, more relaxed break.

“It’s in our nature” to create memorable, fun-filled holidays, and we’re so pleased you had a great experience with us.

We hope to welcome you back again soon for even more holiday fun!

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed our spacious pitches always a great start to a holiday!

I’m sorry to hear that other aspects of your stay did not meet expectations. Thank you for your comments regarding the water temperature; we are looking into this as I type back to you, as we know a shower should be refreshing, not a game of “too hot or too cold!”

Our Touring Team work incredibly hard to ensure all of our holiday guests feel relaxed and well looked after. I am sorry that you found the shower and toilet facilities unclean. Our team members are in these areas regularly as part of a strict cleaning process. While we cannot always control how other guests leave facilities, we will certainly be reinforcing our standards even further to ensure an improved experience.

Regarding the early morning noise, as a holiday park we do like to start the day with a bit of energy, which many of our guests enjoy although I completely understand this may not have been your ideal wake-up call, and I’m sorry this impacted your stay.

I was also disappointed to read your comments regarding the team. Our park team members are certainly not incompetent; they are some of the very best around and consistently go above and beyond for our guests. I am sorry that this was not reflected during your visit.

You also mentioned the building works; we do currently have some improvements taking place as part of our ongoing investment into the park, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused during your stay.

We do genuinely listen, take feedback on board, and continue to improve it’s simply in our nature.

We do hope to welcome you back in the future.

Shelduck (area 1) powered grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Lovely surroundings, pitch was spacious and electric hook up
Activities appeared to be good, but were quickly booked up with no availability, this is a large site with high volume of people. The one activity we managed to book on was cancelled at short notice due to wind and we didn’t know until we arrived to take part, luckily the very helpful staff at tribe den allowed us to feed the alpachas at extra cost, and also offered a craft in place of the activity we missed.
Swimming pool on site and plenty of outdoor play areas, bike tracks, water sports

Security present and helpful in the evenings

Indoor seating area limited and not large enough for the amount of guests, outdoor seating area all exposed outside(no cover) the venue which is cold early season - this was expected but not helpful when the weather isn’t good.

Arcade area but most of the games wouldn’t take the money and some were broken, one poor guy attendant apologising and trying to help everyone- he was very helpful and it wasn’t his fault the games weren’t working, but so early in the season and high volume of guests he could have done with more than just one of him. There was rubbish everywhere all over the floor/ discarded tickets empty money pots, the poor chap just couldn’t cope of his own with the amount of people in there and the issues with the machines.

Outdoor entertainment was ok what we saw and the children seemed to like it.

We think it has potential to be a lovely spot and would consider staying again but in a static next time, to give ourselves more options. And to try and find out more information prior to our arrival so we can get the most out of it when there, learn the site and be able to use all that’s offered- which appears to be quite a lot when you know about it.
Better singnage and welcome pack would help with this to direct you to the different places - it’s ok seeing signs, but not knowing what’s at the end is unhelpful.

Disliked Swimming pool changing rooms were very unclean, not enough changing facilities for the number of people in and out and the lockers were all broken and not enough, people were taking their belongings to pool side.
Encouraged to leave outdoor shoes outside changing rooms but ignored by many therefore there was mud and grass on the wet floors (tiles)
Toilets were dirty and floors soaking wet.
I would expect with the number of guests using the pool there to be a cleaner on regular duty keeping things clean and safe, the floors were very slippery in the changing rooms. Pool adequate for the hour time slot, one slide a small splash area for youngsters. The jacuzzi was out of order.

Our toilet and shower block for camping facilities were close to our pitch, but by 7pm there was no toilet paper and this wasn’t restocked till morning.
Female block- I don’t believe toilets were checked after the cleaner finished for the day around 4 as when using at night there was sick all over the floor in several cubicles, and a couple of blocked toilets.
When the cleaner arrived in the morning she did a splendid job clearing all the mess up and making them clean again.
The external door closing latch mechanism is broken so although a heated space door was open all the time and showers directly opposite door so not any real privacy.
It was difficult to glean information when we arrived, barrier was open and we were just allowed to drive in and find our own pitch, don’t have welcome pack or any information about what was available in terms of activities, a site map and had to try and find reception to get a map and was directed to look at the app- which only had activities on and not more information about other facilities i.e restaurants cafes, etc etc

We visited the venue to eat, but the menu was basic and lacking in variety, there was pizza, burgers, fried food, one curry option, We opted to leave site for our evening meal. No toilet paper by mid evening and didn’t appeared to have a cleaner on duty as we’re not very clean.

Suggestion of more trained staff in adequate numbers for the volume of guests on a busy bank holiday weekend to make the whole experience from arrival and during the stay much better.

From the manager: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback it’s incredibly helpful, and we love hearing from our guests! We’re so lucky to have so much space on park, and we’re thrilled you enjoyed it. We’ve invested millions into the park to ensure our holiday guests and owners have the best possible experience, and we know there’s always more to do but we never stop pushing forward!

We offer a huge variety of activities and facilities for everyone to enjoy. Activities such as swimming can be booked two weeks in advance, and we release slots ahead of time so everyone has a fair chance to join in. I’m really sorry that most were already full due to popularity we’re always looking at ways to improve and will continue trying different options so every guest can take part in the fun.

Our venue has had a fabulous development, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and we also have the Lake Club with plenty of spots to relax again both inside and out, not forgetting our amphitheatre area this is packed with seating too, so you can enjoy shows or just chill without missing a thing. I’ll be looking into why there wasn’t enough seating during your visit no one wants to stand with their cocktail in hand, right.

Our swimming pool teams do a great job keeping the water and areas clean and safe, sometimes during really busy times, a floor or extra water might be missed, but they’re back on it as soon as they can to ensure everyone enjoys a splash without worry.

We also have a dedicated Touring Team to care for our guests, keeping shower blocks stocked and clean, so I’ll be reviewing what happened here no one wants to be caught short.

We’ve worked hard to keep our food menus varied and affordable, knowing how important this is for our guests. We’ll continue to review and improve these so there’s something for everyone, while keeping costs reasonable.

It’s in our nature to keep improving, keep smiling, and keep the holiday fun alive, thank you again for your feedback it’s the best way for us to learn and grow, and we hope to welcome you back soon.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m really pleased to hear you enjoyed the Pump Track it’s incredibly popular and was designed with a real Silverstone-inspired feel, so it’s great to know it hit the mark!

I’m very sorry to hear about your experience with cars driving irresponsibly near your pitch. This is extremely concerning, and I completely understand how upsetting this must have been for you and your son this is not the safe, relaxed environment we want for any of our guests.

We take guest safety very seriously, and behaviour like this is not tolerated on park. Our teams do challenge this when seen, and I will be raising this with the park team to ensure increased monitoring and action is taken, especially during the evenings.

It’s in our nature to create a place where families can feel safe, relax, and enjoy their time together, so I’m truly sorry this impacted your stay.

We do hope you’ll consider staying with us again so we can provide the peaceful, fun holiday experience we’re known for.

Shelduck (area 2) powered grass travel trailer campsite

Liked This isn’t out first camping trip here we came last Aug so knew what to expect entertainment wise & we always enjoy our stay

Disliked - When we arrived there wasn’t a pitch available on Shelduck 2. We were told to wait & someone would come to help us but when nobody came we ended up finding someone ourselves they walked around the main site & no plots for us to go on. I appreciate we came earlier than our check in time but even if we’d arrived at the correct time we still would have been in the same situation, we have small children so as you can imagine we just wanted to get set up & needed to feed them.We ended up staying on a hard standing pitch which in the end was fine but we did get told we may have to move during our stay (thankfully we didn’t). How the checking in system works does need to be re looked at though, we’ve stayed at other campsites & they take you to your plot & you get shown where to pitch up here it’s just a free for all & nobody is monitoring how long people are staying or if they are over staying & the site was definitely over booked.
We also couldn’t book onto swimming as each day was fully booked but the swimming pool itself wasn’t full to capacity. I do think that when people have booked for swimming & don’t turn up they should get charged for not cancelling or maybe charge a deposit & you get it back if you turn up. We feel the site as a lot to offer but due to how it’s currently run & the systems in place has definitely put us of & for this reason we won’t be planning on returning

From the manager: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m really sorry that your arrival didn’t go to plan that’s certainly not the smooth start we want for our touring guests. We do have processes in place, so I’m unsure exactly what happened here, but I will be speaking directly with our Touring Manager to ensure a better arrival experience going forward. Our goal is for every guest to settle in quickly and not have to worry about moving pitches after arrival.

Over the Easter period, we did have a high number of touring guests, but the park was not overbooked just sold out and we absolutely have the capacity to place every guest on the correct pitch.

We also have our handy activities link, which allows you to book sessions up to two weeks in advance. It works really well, and if someone cancels, those spaces pop back into availability, so it’s worth keeping an eye on.

Thank you again for your honest feedback it helps us make the park better for everyone. I hope we’ll have the chance to welcome you back in the future and give you the smooth, fun-filled experience you expect.
