  • Pet-friendly site on 235 acres of parkland in Northamptonshire
  • Half an hour's drive from Silverstone; Northampton 15 minutes
  • Fishing lakes, bars and restaurants
Activity and fishing centre Billing Aquadrome is just a couple of miles from Great Billing in Northamptonshire and set over 235 acres of green parkland and lakes. With so much to do around its grounds, it's likely that you'll want to stay put here for your entire trip… and if you do desire to speed off somewhere, Silverstone is only half an hour's drive away. The site has fishing lakes of varying sizes and depths where avid anglers can cast off for carp and common mirror carp, catfish, pike, roach, bream, tench and rudd. Bring along your own fishing kit and an up-to-date licence, and buy a fishing ticket from the team if you want to try your luck. Away from the water, the many other facilities include bars and restaurants (yes, plural, plus a beer garden). Just take note that the bar, beer garden and restaurant are all adults-only from 10pm. There is also a seasonal swimming pool on site. And speaking of the essentials, there are takeaways, a supermarket and shops right on site too, as well as picnic areas, Sky Sports and – if you need your barnet tamed after all that activity – a hairdresser's.

What customers say

Lovely spot for families with plenty to do. Spacious pitches and friendly staff are a hit. Pool and splash pad are big draws. Some minor grumbles about loos and noise at peak times, but it's all getting a spruce-up.

Shelduck (area 1) electric grass touring pitch

Liked Once we were located to our pitch I had to go back to the site staff for advice as we couldn't find shelduck 1 pitch 16.
The young lad was very accommodating and walked back with me to show us our pitch.
Loved listening to the birds late night early morning.

Disliked The showers ran cold for sometime, but finally heated up.

From the manager: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us

We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and that the spacious pitches and activities for the little ones were a highlight for you. It’s also lovely to know the toilets were well maintained and that you found the shop and bakery handy we do love being able to offer those little holiday essentials (and treats!) on park

We have worked really hard to ensure we have a fantastic activities and entertainment programme for all ages to enjoy, and it’s great to hear this helped make your stay enjoyable.

Our touring teams work tirelessly to ensure the shower blocks and toilets are kept clean, fresh, and ready for use throughout your stay. We’re very proud of their hard work behind the scenes.

We also offer a well-stocked park shop with everything from essentials like bread and milk to a few extra treats for our touring guests because holidays should always come with a little something nice!

In relation to your comment about checkout, we do offer a late checkout option for touring guests up until 2pm, subject to availability and an additional charge. This is something we can always look at adding for you next time if you’d like a more relaxed departure.

Thank you again for your feedback, and we really hope to welcome you back again soon for another great stay with us

From the manager: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us

It’s really lovely to hear you recognise how much there is to do and see on park. It’s in our nature to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy during their stay, and we’re always looking at ways to make the guest experience even better.

We’re delighted you enjoyed the variety of facilities available, including our
swimming pool,
splash pool,
park train,
alpacas,
Bunny Café,
Tribe Den,
Dino carts, and BMX there really is no stopping us when it comes to creating fun for all ages!

We also have three beautiful lakes on park where guests are able to fish, along with a fantastic tackle shop just outside the park. Our lakes are home to a variety of fish, making it a great experience for both beginners and keen anglers alike.

I have also passed on your feedback to our touring manager regarding the concerns raised around broken concrete, dirt and bricks, and uneven areas, as well as the condition of the shower block and toilets. Our teams follow a strict cleaning process, and I will be looking into this to ensure it is being followed correctly and consistently.

It is important to us that all guests respect the facilities provided, and whilst we appreciate busy periods can have an impact, we do not expect areas such as shower blocks and toilets to be left in an unacceptable condition. This feedback will be reviewed with the relevant teams.

Thank you again for your feedback, and we do hope to welcome you back again soon for another fun-filled stay with us

Shelduck (area 3) electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Kids entertainments engaged children and parents the animators were nice and creative, mini train free attraction, venue and playgrounds. Alpacas, and calm atmosphere.

Disliked No dogs area, people walked with their pupils and didn’t clean after dogs, none separate places for grey water available, I must lifted heavy waste water carrier and drop the wastewater into to chemicals waste. I’ve been told that Swimming Pool is fully booked without even checking but it wasn’t. No WiFi.

From the manager: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us.

We’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and that the children’s entertainment was a highlight for both children and parents. It’s great to know the animators were engaging and creative, and that you enjoyed the mini train, venue, playgrounds, alpacas, and the calm atmosphere

We have worked so hard to ensure we have the best entertainment and activities on offer at our park, and it’s lovely to hear these were enjoyed during your visit.

Our venue has just had a massive new development and looks amazing with its new stage. We listen to our holiday guests and owners and continuously improve wherever we can and we won’t stop there as we continue to invest in the park and future experiences.

It’s in our nature to listen, take feedback on board, and continually look at ways to improve the guest experience for everyone.

We are sorry to hear about your concerns regarding dog facilities and cleanliness around the park. We do have our “Tough Mutt” area for our furry friends, which is fully fenced off to ensure everyone’s safety. We also offer a variety of great walking trails for both guests and their dogs to enjoy. We always remind our guests of the importance of cleaning up after their dogs and using the dog waste bins located around the park as no one wants dog mess on our grounds. If our park teams observe any issues, they will challenge pet owners at the time, as we expect all guests to follow the rules to help maintain a clean and enjoyable environment for everyone. Your comments will be shared with the relevant teams so we can continue to monitor this.

We also understand your frustration regarding the touring facilities, particularly the grey water disposal and the physical effort involved. Your feedback will be passed to our maintenance team for review to see where improvements can be made.

In relation to the swimming pool, we are sorry you were advised it was fully booked without this being properly checked at the time. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we will ensure this is reviewed with the team.
We have an activities booking link where guests can book experiences up to 2 weeks in advance. This is communicated via email, social platforms, and our website. As sessions do fill up quickly, we always recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Regarding WiFi, we appreciate this may have impacted your stay, this is something we continue to review as part of our ongoing investment into the park and guest experience. We believe that our touring guests want to enjoy the great outdoors, and although there is no WiFi on the touring pitches, guests are able to access WiFi within our venues.

Thank you again for your feedback altogether, and we do hope to welcome you back again in the future for an even better stay.
