What customers say
Stunning sea views, great for exploring coast. Clean facilities, friendly staff, good amenities (shop, pub, chippy). Kids' play area & pool a hit. Watch out for peak-time crowds/noise and wind on cliff for tents.

Great pitch sizes soured by other bad guests & intimidating groundsmen
Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Big pitch spaces, amazing view and really good facilities IE toilets showers
Disliked No security for the price you pay so people can scream all night like they did in the tent near us, dirty glasses at the bar which was sorted but left a sour taste. It’s in a very remote location so can’t really walk to anywhere and on the last day the tractor mowing the massive patch of grass was getting incredibly close to the car and tent the whole time we were trying to pack down it genuinely feels like an intimidation tactic as I type this he’s getting closer to my car which has really left a sour taste.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. We are pleased you liked the pitch sizes, views and facilities.
We are sorry you were disturbed by other guests during your stay. Had this been reported to us at the time, our team would have done their best to deal with it while you were here.
Regarding the location, this has not changed since the booking was made and we are clearly advertised as being in a coastal location near Filey and Scarborough - it is 2 miles from Filey.
The groundsman was simply cutting the grass, which is an essential part of maintaining the park. There was certainly no intention to intimidate anyone, we get thousands of guests per year, he was only carrying out routine grounds work.
Thank you again for staying with us.
Great site, will return
Lower area fully-serviced gravel caravan site (super)
Liked We liked everything about this site, it offers a great deal and is excellent value for money. A level pitch with EHU and tap, the bar, showerblock, shop, pool, fish and chip shop, coastal walks, all very welcome.

We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely book again!
Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Lovely campsite spacious pitch area and lovely views overlooking the sea. Facilities are great. In particular the shower block was spotlessly clean and hot water was always available.
Disliked Not a dislike, Just a word of warning it can get windy at the front pitch’s overlooking the sea. Either pitch a bit further back or take extra pegs.

Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Nice site, clean and tidy. Great location.
Disliked Felt like we were penalised for having a dog, states dog friendly site can sit in conservatory part of pub, however should say can sit in cold, empty uninviting area. There were doors that all you could see was your own reflection, the match was on behind a closed door, there needs to be a tv in conservatory with a heater to make it more initiating to sit and have drinks in.

Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Great site with great views. Good facilities. I was hiking for a week and great coastal hikes nearby.
Disliked A bit pricey for a 1 man tent. Bar, restaurant and shop are not open in the week.

From the manager: Thank you for your review and recommendation. We’re pleased you enjoyed the great views, facilities and nearby coastal walks, and it was lovely that you chose to extend your stay by a further 2 nights.
Our pitch prices include up to 4 people, so we appreciate they can feel expensive for a solo traveller compared with a per-person campsite. Just to clarify, we do not have a restaurant on the park, although our bar, shop and other facilities do vary their opening times depending on the season and how busy the park is. We hope to welcome you back again.
