Camping Zumaia is a new site, recently opened in 2015 located within the Basque Coast Geopark on the Gipuzkoa Coast, an area characterised by cliffs, clean beaches, and fishing ports with a great tradition. Stroll down the small medieval alleys of the historic neighbourhood of the nearby fishing town of Zumaia, only few minutes away by car. Here you will also find a marina, a sports centre and two beaches.

The family-friendly site has beautiful views over Monte Basusta and Monte Artadi, now declared protected forests. Guests will have full access to the on-site facilities including a swimming pool open during the summer holidays, and a paddling pool. There is also a children play area and a communal barbecue area equipped with picnic tables.

The toilet blocks are adapted for customers with reduced mobility and include free hot showers, a laundry area with washing machines and tumble dryers and a washing-up area.

Camping Zumaia also has a bar restaurant, located right by reception, serving a variety of dishes and take-away options. There is also a small grocery store with essential staples and local products.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the campsite must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Unsupervised minors must have a letter of authorisation from their parents or legal guardian.

Arrivals and departures
Late arrivals must notify the campsite/park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday
Bookings cannot be amended within 2 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs are not allowed in the accommodation units.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.
We do not accept breeds/crossbreeds of Staffordshire terrier, pit bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
Your dog must be tattooed and microchipped.

A motorbike can be brought instead of the car included.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Entertainment and activities are available between 01/07 and 31/08.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to the reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to our attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
Total silence must be respected between 11am and 8am.

Hired accommodation
Hired accommodation: €50 damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy, a fine of €50 will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Only campsite guests are authorised to use the pool.
Some facilities require the wearing of swim caps.
Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.

Reception is open from 8am to 10pm between 16/06 and 04/09.
Reception is open from 8am to 2pm and from 4pm to 8.30pm between 15/01-29/05 and 03/10-15/12.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Open fires are prohibited.

This area is not subject to city tax.

Visitors must leave the premises by 3pm.
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
Visitors’ cars are not permitted on the campsite.
