Camping El Toro Azul

Liked Location by the beach is lovely but there is a railway line dividing the site from beach. There is a difficult tunnnel underneath the track and it’s noisy.

Disliked The site allows dogs, but the Italian restaurant on site does not. The toilets and showers are clean but dated and not heated

Liked Clean toilets , hot free showers, swimming pool. Helpful reception staff

Disliked Very narrow roadways, difficult for larger campers and anyone with a trailer. Motor home service area was good but tight to get in and out with an 8M camper

Liked Spacious pitches, easy access to beach, nice swimming pool area, lovely toilets and showers, staff were very friendly and polite
Within easy walking distance of local bars and restaurants plus train station very accessible.

Disliked Very low tunnel access to beach from back of site - had to use another way

Liked Well kept site very close to the beach, with clean bathroom facilities and good wifi. Friendly welcome and helpful staff. Good location, between two towns, both with train stations. Unfortunately, we stayed just after a storm, which meant beach access was tricky and all trains were cancelled. The pool area looks lovely - although it wasn't the weather for a dip! We also ate at the restaurant which was nice - with reasonably priced bottles of wine.

Disliked A minor point, but guest communication could be improved. We weren't told on arrival how to get onto the wifi and had to go back to reception to be given a separate code. This then expired after a couple of days (not told this in advance) and had to go back to reception again for another code. There were also works carried out on the bathroom facilities without notice. All bathroom facilities were roped off - with no timeframe given. That said, we would still go back. Also - the shower room lights are on a motion sensor, which goes on when you enter. Unfortunately, they go off while you're in the shower, with no way of getting them back on without dashing out halfway through your shower in a towel!! Please can you rectify this?

Liked Ablutions exceptionally clean. Hot water in showers and basins.
Toilet paper provided as well as paper roll next to basins.
Washing machines and tumble dryer which can be used with a credit/debit card. Staff very friendly and speak English. Access to the beach via a back gate. Twenty minute stroll to a lovely town with lots of places to eat and drink and great shopping. Twenty minute walk the other way to the railway station for links to Barcelona.

Liked Un accueil très agréable, camping entre la route et la voie ferrée mais cela ne nous a pas gêné , Sanitaires et douches propres. Accès à la plage juste en face du camping. La proximité à pied comme à vélo d’Arenys de Mar et de Canet de Mar est un atout aussi . une petite semaine reposante et amusante avec nos enfants (balade à vélo, à pieds, journée à Barcelone ). le personnel du restaurant italien à coté est super gentil
