Liked Goed gelopen aan de receptie. Fijne bedjes aan het zwembad, met parasol.
Goede trein verbinding om naar Barcelona te gaan.

Disliked In de avond was er animatie in het spaans wat erg hard over de camping ging. Tot zeker 0.00u.
De douches waren erg vies.
De weg naar zee is goed te lopen onder het bruggetje maar erg veel afval en stank.
De plek was ook erg smal. Met onze camper konden we het luifel niet eens helemaal uitdraaien. En het raam aan de andere kant kon niet open omdat die bij de buren onder het luifel zat.

Fijn dat de ontvangst, de ligbedden bij het zwembad en de treinverbinding naar Barcelona bevallen zijn.
Een paar punten willen we graag toelichten. In de zomer hebben we elke zaterdag livemuziek met verschillende genres en events, het hoort bij de zomersfeer hier, al begrijpen we dat het niet ieders voorkeur is. Over de plek: die was inderdaad wat smal, en op zulke momenten kunnen we u altijd naar een ruimere parzelle verplaatsen, het volstaat om het bij de receptie aan te geven. De douches krijgen gedurende de dag meerdere uitgebreide schoonmaakbeurten. En de weg naar het strand valt buiten ons terrein en onder de bevoegdheid van de gemeente, al sturen we op eigen kosten een schoonmaakbedrijf om te helpen.

Liked La playa está enfrente. Tiene actividades para grandes y chicos. A 1 hora en tren de Barcelona, la estación se encuentra a 1.5km del camping.

Fijn dat de camping als vriendelijk en rustig is ervaren. Over de trein: we begrijpen dat het even wennen kan zijn, maar de meeste gasten merken dat het snel naar de achtergrond verdwijnt. En het voordeel is dat je er zo mee in Barcelona bent zonder de auto te hoeven verplaatsen.

Liked Good sized earth/sand pitches with EHU, Good sized showers with plenty of hot water and handy large washing machines available.
Handy snack bar/bar (I believe seperately run) alongside a lovely pool area.
Gated access to the beach which was lovely to stroll along
A cycle ride away from the Port and a bit further to bigger supermarkets

Disliked Not actually a dislike but quite noisy at times being alongside the busy road

Glad the pitches, showers, pool area and beach access all hit the mark. The cycle ride to the Port of Arenys is a great tip, the fresh fish restaurants there are well worth it. And fair point on the road, it's part of our location, though most guests find it fades into the background after the first night.

Liked Positionnement du camping, la propreté des sanitaires, et surtout l'accueil du jeune homme à la réception. La piscine par ces fortes chaleurs. Le restaurant Italien au dessus de la réception.

Disliked Le seul bémol surement technique, en dehors des heures d'ouvertures de la réception 8h le matin le portail et la barrière s'ouvres automatiquement avec la lecture de la plaque d'immatriculation. Et bien pour nous le système n'a pas fonctionné et nous avons poiroter devant 1Heure. Pas de chance!

Ravi que l'emplacement, les sanitaires, la piscine et le restaurant italien aient été à la hauteur. On transmettra vos compliments au jeune homme de la réception, ça fait toujours plaisir.
Pour le portail, toutes nos excuses pour cette attente d'une heure, ce n'est clairement pas normal. Le système de lecture de plaques peut parfois avoir des ratés et on va vérifier ce qui a pu se passer pour éviter que ça se reproduise.

Liked Had a lovely stay at camping El Toro Azul. Nice large private pitch Well kept campsite right next to the beach.
Nice swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds that’s quite quiet in the week but not so much weekends.
Lovely reception staff.

Disliked Two problems with the site. A commuter rail line right next to site that runs every 20 minutes from 6 am till midnight, but can not do a lot about that.
The worse thing we found was visiting the snack bar. The snack bar waiter Antonio was rude, unfriendly and impolite. He really needs to find another job which is not customer focused. It seems to be because we are English but who knows.
