The stunning views of Newport Bay will likely be the first feature you'll see at this fab south Wales site, for they really are rather splendid. Penfeidir Farm Camp Site is at the foot of Carn Ingli mountain (Cairn of Angels), with heavenly views of the bay and within easy reach of spectacular Welsh beaches such as Newport and Fishguard, each within 10 minutes' drive. This lush setting is in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park too, so days of coastal rambles, mountain hikes, heritage highlights and wildlife watching are all on the agenda – and whatever activity or attraction you opt for, do remember that Newport's excellent local produce market is held every Monday... This is a small and friendly site, on a farm, and with good amenities including toilets, free hot showers, a washing-up area and chemical disposal. Pitches are on grass and cars can be parked alongside. Newport has eateries and pubs aplenty to keep you fully fed and watered on your south Wales seaside hol, as well as a grocery shop and butcher's so you can bag as many treats as poss to fry up on the barbecue later among these first-rate coastal views.

Liked We had an amazing time, the view was fantastic, and it's a lovely place to camp. We will be back for sure. Our 2-year-old loved running in the field and enjoying nature. Jo, the host, was so helpful and friendly. Thank you so much for everything.

Liked The view was amazing and the pitches were clean and tidy as well as the washing up area and the bin area. Very clean and there were almost no issues.

Disliked The showers were complicated to use and sometimes the hot water wouldn’t fully come

Liked Clean and tidy. Spacious pitches. Beautiful scenic views. Owner of the pitch was lovely and helpful on phone on arrival and even came to check in after our arrival. Looking forward to visiting again.

Electric grass motorhome pitch

Liked The welcome from the owner (Joanna) and the views were both stunning. A great location walking distance to the beach and Newport with it's pubs, cafes and little shops.

Disliked The showers were not the best we've experienced, but this was related to the water pressure being low, caused by the drought conditions. Joanna investigated this as soon as we mentioned it, and although she could not fix it, immediately put up signage to explain the issue. We felt welcomed and well looked after.

Liked A really big field so it didn’t feel that any other campers were ever too close to our pitch. Amazing views over the estuary and coastline. Only a few minutes away from the village with shops and pubs. Toilets and showers were really clean. The site went lovely and quiet after dark so it was lovely to sit and enjoy the stars. It gets really dark at night so bring a torch. This is a lovely campsite and for me is camping as it should be. The site owner was friendly and helpful. We also loved the site cat who cones to check up on you throughout the day ! Lol

Disliked Not a dislike but the field is on a slight incline.
