Liked The site is lovely and the owners are so welcoming. The facilities have everything you need. The chickens and ducks roaming around were adorable. Short walk to Mwnt beach and the coastal path.

Liked Great views over Newport Sands. Short walk into Newport village. Owner is very friendly.

Disliked Pitches are very sloped, much more than levelling ramps can compensate for. Facilities could use some TLC to say the least. No hot water for washing up. Very expensive for what you get.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. We’re sorry you felt disappointed with your stay. This is our first season running the campsite and we’re fully aware that the toilet and facilities block needs some TLC — improvements are already something we’re looking at for the future. We do feel the comments regarding the slope are a little unfair. We regularly accommodate motorhomes and campervans of various sizes, including a 9-metre motorhome on the upper pitches, without any issues levelling. We were also disappointed that none of these concerns were mentioned to us during your stay. We spoke with you in person after your first night, which would have given us the opportunity to help, move you to another pitch if necessary, or address anything you were unhappy with. We’re always happy to receive constructive feedback and will continue improving the site as we grow, but we would always encourage guests to speak to us while they’re here so we have the chance to put things right.
