We are very much in love with Cardiff. And we wish there could be a Cardiff campsite in the Millennium Stadium – we promise we would unpitch for rugby match days. And there’s way too much in the Welsh capital to fit in here all the reasons to go Cardiff camping – and why we might move there someday.
We could say, for example, say sport, as Cardiff was the European City of Sport for 2014 and has stupendous stadia for sports of all sorts, including the Millennium Stadium Possible Future Campsite. Castles? More than any other city in the world, Cardiff claims. Live music and Cardiff Bay and Bute Park and The Doctor and over a thousand listed buildings? And the nightlife? Nuff said.
Round and about, make a proper hol of it and follow up Cardiff days with rambles in the surrounding countryside around the Vale of Glamorgan and the Glamorgan Heritage Coast: we are much in love with these too.
