Excellent site, well maintained, great welcome & host.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely little site with a wonderful warm welcome from the host who is on site much of the time.
The toilets & showers were always clean and the wash up room was like you were at home. Free facilities, wash up liquid, pads etc. and even free tea & coffee as well as a good quality book swap & even OS maps to borrow. All on an honesty basis.
Good size pitches and grass at a really comfortable height, not scalped like some sites.
We couldn’t fault the site & it was ideally located to meet with friends & attend the Blackbird Festival in Cardiff.
Disliked Nothing.

Electric grass pitch
Liked We went as the nearest site to the castle for a rock concert. Lovely quiet site. Met on arrival even though we were later than advertised time for check in. Lady in reception was lovely and friendly and gave us lots of useful information. Only £5 to leave late on Sunday. Exceptionally clean facilities, and an excellent touch was the washing up liquid and utensils provided plus tea and coffee. Never seen that before in 40 years of camping, well done. Large pitch with electric, well maintained and closed to Bridgend for services.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Liked Lovely, clean and well-maintained site. Very good facilities with lots of little extras like the washing up liquid and brushes in the washing-up area. A kettle and toaster are also available. Lots of info about places to visit in the area and contact details of businesses who will deliver food to the site.
