Liked Location of this site is exceptional and very clean.
We stayed in the green hut and had a fantastic 2 nights, it’s very comfortable and cosy.
As others have said it is near the road but the road noise did improve after 10pm and didn’t disturb our sleep
All the staff on site were very friendly and helpful.
We ordered meat from reception that was delivered the same day and the quality was outstanding, well worth the money

Disliked The little fridge doesn’t keep the contents cool

Liked Tent easily fitted x2 double air beds, site was well maintained and the plot felt private but not secluded, loved the decking area with a bench and table, facilities were clean and very modern, shampoo, conditioner and body wash available, smelt lovely and left my hair feeling great, staff were pleasant welcoming and very helpful & knowledgeable, the onsite shop was not overly priced and stocked many things you may need or want. Small walk away from Bala train or a short 5 min drive to the lake, plenty of fire pits available, sit was really relaxing and peaceful, plenty of plots available but didnt feel overcrowded, highly recommend this place!

Disliked Not a dislike but more of a heads up, because we had x4 people in the tent, we had to utilise the decking as our cooking area, which was fine for us as the weather was great.

Liked Cleanliness, friendly staff

Disliked Wifi was a waste of time little or no signal, no view of the lake, road noise, on a flight path, children running through my pitch all through the day,not enough shower cubicles had to queue or come back later.The town high street was very run down nothing there.

Liked Great location close to the lake. Shop on site with essentials. Well maintained and clean.

Liked Had a brilliant time.
Pitch and services are excellent.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
It's right next to barla lake and in the middle of all the local MTB trails and centres.
We did 3 days mtb.
Took the train to the pub and back.
Did paddleboarding course ( two of us with one instructor) Bargain.
Went into barla for fidh & chips and pubs.
Overall sopt on caravan park and lical facilities and local amenities.

Liked Absolutely beautiful campsite! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and looked after.

The whole site is spotless, beautifully maintained, and you can tell the owners take great pride in keeping everything clean and tidy. The toilets and showers were immaculate throughout our stay.

A special mention to Jan, who was absolutely fabulous—so friendly, caring and incredibly hardworking. Nothing was too much trouble, and she really made our stay even more enjoyable.

The location is perfect, making it ideal for relaxing and exploring the area.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we've already booked to come back. We can't wait for our next visit and would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-run place to stay.

Liked A great location! The lake so nearby and being able to walk into Bala was great. Plenty of other activities within 30 mins (ish) drive. Beautiful views and good cycle paths. The campsite was extremely clean and well maintained. The layout of the site was great too, tiered with lots of trees and shrubs. A pretty place to relax. Staff were really helpful and always available to answer questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
